@flynreel Dude, "new"? The Army ordered a shit load of the Jet Rangers but Vietnam was ended before delivery. SO sure they never flew, but they're not "new". There are still thousands of "new" 1970's Jetrangers just sitting, waiting for purchase.

sure wish i had the money and pull to ask them never stop making the Ranger, too bad the Army canned the UH-1, I will miss that bird, helped us on many priority missions, wish I had a rotor lic. and cash to buy a used one, I do however have a HBKII rc helo, and hope to find a Huey cabin to fit, or Hughes 500. iI also miss Meigs field in Chicago, has a kid back in the late 60's wacthed everything there, and thanks to Mr. Knox fm Dunbar tech got 1st real flight in Citabria! my dream a 50 scale
