adventure island. . is this a clone of it? because It was made by hudson, and this is like a power for power up gameplay. anyway i like Mr Higgins more than this kid but its cool having an adventure island for the go and for 2 dollars i cant complain

@TVindustries5000 Actually, it's vice versa. Wonder Boy was the original in the arcades. For some strange reason, Sega kept the rights on the name and character of Wonder Boy so Hudson changed those and created a very similar platformer with more advanced gameplay. I'm not a big fan of either, but I love the Wonder Boy sequels with more rpg elements.

@temujin9000 yea i did some readin lol. the company that developed it strayed from sega and went to hudson soft and changed the name and characters. and yea i have wonder boy in monster world pretty cool lol

This Game Gear Wonder Boy game kept its original Wonder Boy name for European release!

I bought my copy at a retro store in France in 2002 for €6,00! (I live in the UK, so we were in France on vacation)
