No hating but while Beyonce is a polished performer, there was far more energy in this although, who would headline with what is relatively a new act in comparison. As for vocal technique, I think you need to check out Janelle a lot more. Janelle has full control for whatever the vibe is while Beyonce sometimes over does it without restraint. Check out the old timers lile Pattie Labelle and Chaka Khan and you'll soon realise what I mean.

She did this live in Glasgow in Feb and she had the whole crowd literally on the floor with her dancers. It was insane! She is an absolute star in the ever more blank sky of music these days. True joy to watch live in person and indeed even videos like this of her live performances are still goosebump inducing.

I LOVE Beyonce! But this is the BEST performance from Glastonbury that I've seen! Incredible engergy and you get the feeling she really BELIEVES in what she sings about. Even though she's a magnificent performer and singer Bey TRIES too hard sometimes to be great, but Janelle is the REAL thing. With that said Beyonce more than deserved to be the headlining act, the woman has paid her dues many times over and you can tell Janelle was inspired by her showmanship.
