Get Both if you can, but I would get Brawl First TJ. Also Mario Kart, Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, and Ghostbusters are all other good games you might look into at some point in time.

If you like fighting games get Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If you like really cool adventure games get Super Mario Galaxy. Thier both pretty awsome games either way =)

Ether game is worth it. It depends on how much playable and replayability you want out of the game. Mario Galaxy is fun, you have to collect a lot of stuff. Brawl is constantly replayable.

get brawl, it's got more to do if you've got buddies to play with, get SMG if you don't really have that many close buddies to play with. You ought to consider Mario kart wii or Wario ware wii as well.

Super Mario Galaxy. Brawl's good, but I really feel that there should have been more new playable characters and stages. I'm not saying that there's not much, but for the years in between Melee and Brawl, I think they could have added more. Still, it's a great game. There's some rly fun stages.

Super Mario Galaxy is awesome. 120 stars, and once you get all the stars with Mario and Luigi, there's some sort of quick DS version of the game. The graphics are amazing, and the game is all around fun.

you should go with both Galaxy AND Brawl. i wont recommend getting either first, cause there's one main reason u can go either way... Mario Kart Wii!!

if u want to get Kart, then i'd recommend Galaxy first for the sole purpose of getting an unlockable character easier. if u have a file of Galaxy, the play Kart for a while, u can unlock the hot new princess in Galaxy.

if u dont care about this, then go with Brawl first. lots of fun and lots of time well wasted

get mario galaxy, it took me about 2-3 weeks of on and off play to beat it and is rather enjoyable. the physics are fun and creative and the replay has value too( collect remaining stars via different path) the levels are awesome and never seem to repeat, plus there are new characters. Brawl is just as fun, but the solo mode in it gets old and feels the same throughout the game. the fighting mode in brawl is like Melee but with new characters that are enjoyable, but Melee is fine by itself.

Brawl. Go for Brawl. It has replay value... Galaxy does to a point, but once you get the 240 stars (120 from Mario, 120 from Luigi) it becomes quite hard to play though again.
