the tuning is all in the computer. seriously a stock 02 z28 is around 30 hp less than a stock 02 ss. the ram air system doesnt give it that much 10-15 hp with a good filter. its all about the computer with gas and air flow. why do you think one upgraded chip can boost these motors 20-30 hp easily...restrictor plate? i think i damn near pissed myself on that one.

@rangere3rd lol they weren't underrated, they were actually slower than the vette because On the Ls1s in the Camaro and Trans ams they put Restrictor plates on the Intake to slow the car down. Also From the Intake to the engine (the tubes connecting them) Were all curvy and went in circles to slow the air flow down before it got to the engine. Factors for the Camaro and Trans am, well yes weather affects it , I believe all test cars are auto Plus Aerodynamics Plays a roll as well Sorry chap

@zanrath12345 they did not put Restrictor plates on the look it up gm underrated them bc if a car beats a certain performance they have to jack up the price, i bought my car off of an old man who used it to go back to ocean city every year and i rebuilt the block for the first time and there was no Restrictor plate on it, it was exactly the same as my best friends corvette, the intake tubes are 6 inches long if that there are no plates on them.

on a freeway run the camaro wouldve lost. after a car with ram air gets past 45mph the force of the air rushes into the motor with twice the force giving it more power. a dyno cant read the power gains because the car needs to be cutting through the wind to read the power gain. we set one up on a g35 & the power it gave compared to a stock intake was crazy. we made the intake with split coupler 1 to the left under the car the other through center bumper

I think the TA looks way better than the SS, but thats my bias opinion. I just replaced the coilovers on mine with adjustable QA1's. Think i'll remove the WS6 badge so when i post the vids on here it will give people something to argue about! lol
