  • What's the name of the album this is on?

  • Now this is music, pure emotion. It reminds me of a time when musicians performed and wrote music because they wanted to get a message out, not just to make money or become famous.

When musicians didn't care how many people they played to at a venue, they were just happy that people were sharing their message. Bands could play to 3 people in a pub in a town that isn't even on a map, and they would love every second.

    Now that's true music.

  • 2 people have less than nothing....

  • "i started out with nothing and ive still got most of it left", one of the phrases from all time.

  • can you upload more of seasick steve ?

  • his nothing is better than pops anything

  • dear youtube, why is there a dislike button for this video?

  • This is a song about Wakefield Trinity if I've ever heard one.

  • my 9 yr old just sent me the link to this song.....how good is that ????

  • oh oh oh yes thats nice

  • I am not much of a blues fan, I'm more of a metal guy.

But This man is amazing. Love all of his stuff.

  • I aint gon lie, dude! Im feelin these lyrics!

  • who hated on this video??? now the terrorists win!!

  • @TazerJazer123 I kinda have a feeling Steve could take on the terrorists, all by himself

  • damn...

  • seasick is a legend

  • This is the kind of stuff you can listen to all day, and still not get bored of it.

  • Seasick!!!

I've been blessed with the oppurtunity to see him live, twice.

  • Love this music and im 17. First heard about him 2 years ago. Love this music. Such a nice man too.

  • @mekissingyou saw him on top gear did ya? xD

  • @tompopol No actually, paul o grady. :)

  • Steve's singing this for most of us, I guess.

  • Heard this guy on Coop's radio show, and thought, wow, this dude can bring it. Far Out.

  • nice song

  • pure awsomeness !!!

  • this guy has my respect, ALL of it

  • Inspiring lyrics!

  • this guy is seriously talented, i prefer the ones with the three string tho, more unique, thats AMAZING

  • as good as Metallica? on a par i'd say, but as they are different styles its hard to compare

  • yeh dude u just can't compare 2 different styles of music which are both awesome!!

  • @BILLpunkrockXD yeah right lol, they ar waay different but both kick ass, it's weird innit lol x

  • Seasick Steve gets better with each song I hear from him.. ahhhh though I like him with the 3 string transwonder and his Mississippi drum machine. More gritty and awesome.

  • What a legend

  • i have the utmost respect for this man.

  • @DanThornton01 As do I my friend.

  • for a song thats about nothin it really makes ya think bout somethin. im still not quite sure what that "somethin" is though. seasick steve, keep a'rockin and a'rollin. peace

  • LEG--END

  • Great slide player and there's truth in his songs classic album and musician

  • Prefer it without drummage but still cool.

  • now this is what i call music. far better than all the pre fabricated BS people call music nowadays. this has heart soul and fire. all wrapped up in seasick steve.

  • this guy maybe a former hobo, but he is THE GOD OF BATTERED GUITARS like that 3 string 100year old guitar

  • lol my dad listens to this but its actually alright

  • lol

  • Better believe it!

You don't have to be a certain age to enjoy the Blue's. I'm 18, Seasick steve is one of my fav artists!

  • I'm 16 and I begged my dad to go with me to his show in newcastle in January! lol

basically, i prefer music with feeling, as oppose to Children of Bodom style shredding (though I like that too)

and what's a more perfect demonstration of that then blues music? and Steve does a damn good job actually performing and writing the catchiest and the funnest songs to actually play!! I learned a load of seasick stuff on guitar, simply because it's so much fun to play!!

  • BRING BACK BLUES, get rid of the shit that's out there at the moment, I swear if there's another Kate Nash/Katie Perry/Lady Gaga clone I'll kill someone

  • *katy perry my friend, and she is fit.

  • She's ugly.

    And shit.

    What could be worse?

  • being very ugly and very shit?

  • hahaha

  • @Jigilojoe I agree

  • @Jigilojoe

Could that someone please be another Kate Nash/Katie Perry/Lady Gaga?

  • @Jigilojoe There always will be. You have to accept that. All you can do is introduce people to real music, like the blues. Most will say "oh, whatever". That's just the way it is. Personally, I think most of the people I come across are either assholes or idiots. So I really, really like having "my own thing". Though there sure are people out there that dig real music, too. I wish seasick steve would tour the US... we need some real, raw soulful music over here right about now

  • @Jigilojoe i hope that's a promise

  • @Jigilojoe please make it david cameron :D

  • @Jigilojoe kill the "clone" and do us all a favour.

  • @Jigilojoe you are soo right im 16 and im force to listen to shit that i hate every time i hear the radio, but i know one of these days that real rock n roll and blues will come back. something as good as that could never die.

  • Comment removed

  • @BlackDressSociety whos forcing you to listen to it?

  • @DualFrodo It's an exageration.

  • @Jigilojoe

Please do not let it be me :D

  • @Jigilojoe Agreed!!! but oh my lord would i do NASTY things to Katy Perry!!! NOMNOMNOMONOMNOM

  • Seasick Steve = A Man Out Of His Time.

I've only seen and heard a few of his tracks yet right from the first I loved this guy's music.Very rare to see raw "undiluted by the corporates" talent on the scene nowadays, long may he continue to give us simply brilliant music.

  • Love this song. Steve is great!

  • he brings back what music used to be like, soul, meaning, too bad he isnt in his tweenties

  • he's brilliant.

he's the country that broke through the wall of emo/pop/punk

  • this guy rules

  • He is sooo good!!!

he so different to everybody else

  • Sea Sick Steve is the Best
