I don't smoke drugs, it isn't appealing to me. If drugs became legal where I lived I wouldn't start robbing people and breaking into homes to get money to buy them. A situation which mirrors the current 'war on drugs' was prohibition. Does everyone become an alcoholic in our society because alcohol is legal? No. Is there a small segment of society that does become addicted? Yes. The root cause being external and psychological factors rather than whether or not it is legal.
