Hey, nice tutorial! Learning good stuff!!! But I'm just wondering what graphics card you have cause my box looks a lot worse than yours, yours look more detailed compared with mine, thanks!
how do you add a edge from one point to another point. So you can fix the 5 sided face. in xsi, you can just select the point and select the other point. then you can add a edge like that.
How come I cant drag and drop mine bitmap or .jpeg pictures into material editor in 3ds max 9 even when im running it with (right click and Run as admin...)...hope You can help me about that :)
@3dhelpbay plz can you halp me, i have one question no one has given me a reply yet, i simply want to put a back ground picture (bipmap) as my reference, i got to the materail/Map browser and uploaded a picture in there, but now i dont know how to get it from there to my backgroup ?
@PRINCEofPECICA Lolol I can try and see your point. But it's like saying : "Why to build a complicated lighter, when I do fire, with simply two rocks" ;)
@shamwowofdeath try this: go to Menu Toolbar CUSTOMIZE/ PREFERENCES/ GIZMOS tab. Tick ON option to show transform gizmo. If you are using default shortcut settings just press X
@shamwowofdeath I had the same problem and after a bit of googling I found that if you press W you will be able to edit as shown in the video. Hope this helps.
@3:21 When moving the vertex, right click and select "move". Otherwise you can not change the shape of the box.

@PRINCEofPECICA you will never get a job in the industry using google sketchup.
3DS Max is an industry standard piece of software.

@PRINCEofPECICA
When building objects for, for instance bobs track builder, sketchup has a lot of flaws, which 3ds max does not have.

I had the same problem but the ON option was already selected. I have no way of increasing/decreasing the size. Nice tutorials though :)
