I work at House of Blues Houston and he performed there last year some time. He didn't wear shoes, which I thought was kinda weird, but cool. I was working security behind the barricade and there was one part where he got a bunch of little kids on stage, and I helped get 'em up there. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. :P

We were playing the same stage at the Joshua Tree Music Festival 2010 ... just saw him at the Roseland in Portland, and i love what these guys are doing! ...and if i could ever rap and play set like his drummer, i think i'd be in heaven... love that Michael had to fix the mic for him. i first heard michael franti live at the Power to the peaceful fest in Golden Gate Park SF. its a FREE concert that he puts on every year. i had never heard of him before i saw him live, and he BLEW me away with an amazing show. i have been going to the Power to the Peaceful Festival for 4 years strait.
