@10max30 Unfortunately it's only an Epiphone SG, but it is not expensive and it's surely a good guitar (the sound is very good and you can play different kinds of rock music: grunge, hard rock, blues, punk rock and not only...). Maybe it defects on sustain, but it's a question of pick-ups, and you can resolve this problem buying good pick-ups (I would like to install a Gibson P-90 pick up in the bridge position).

@heartfullnapalm It's a lot of work to make a P-90 fit a humbucker route.  They do make P-90 picups in a humbucker case which get very close to a true P-90.

I'm not sure what part of the world you are in - but in N. America you can purchase an Agile LP copy w/ P-90s for 250 USD. I own one and it works very well for Ramones-type stuff.

@darkrockdude It also depends on the amp that you use... I have a Marshall 100W (combo transistor), and working on settings I can obtain a good sound to do this music. It is not the best to imitate Ramones tone (probably it is more suitable for Johnny Thunders, Sex Pistols, Dead Boys...), but the sound is still good! ;)

P.S.: Soon I will replace the bridge pick-up with a Gibson P-90 pick-up, to adapt the guitar to my sound. About the neck pick-up, I haven't yet decided what to install.
