I always, always get a better shave going against the grain because it slightly pulls each hair out from under the skin. Some people find it more irritable and cut more easily, or form in growns. I guess I'm lucky that I never had that problem

She has poor technique coupled with very poor prep, it's a good job the razor is sharp otherwise he would have had a very rough shave.
