i had this game for gba and their was cheats for it and quality time spent into it. it beats games now a days... wtf is this reach shit and call of duty!
The Battle of Monte Cassino ended in May of '44, yet the date on the briefing says June 15th. I guess someone on the dev team messed up their dates. lol
I went there! I saw the Abbey! the alter and the crypt where St. Benedict is buried are the only things that weren't destroyed. I bought a rosary from a monk who grunted at me
yeah, the U.S. helped Italy rebuild it, but they don't give us credit. Also my cousins live in this little town called Atina and that's literally the next town over from Cassino.
I can understand them feeling a bit sore about us blowing it up in the first place, but they should give credit where credit is due, else the abbey might still be a pile of rocks. It's unfortunate that it was destroyed, lots of history there. The same could be said for plenty of other sites, and Paris itself almost became a pyre near the end of the war.

@albgnco
The only waste of ammunition is not using it.

That's pretty awesome. I'd love to go to Europe one day to see all the ancient buildings and the like. You make a history buff jealous.
