  • THE most beautiful clowns of the dog world...:)

  • That Greyt boy just has separation anxiety. Could likely easily be fixed by another dog so he is not alone.

  • I am the KING of the WORLD!

  • mine watches telly when im out,

  • Such a good lookin dog.

  • we have a v similar coloured greyhound - when I set the cam-corder to see what he did when we left the house, he went up the camera, sniffed it & ran up stairs with it in his mouth. The footage was amusing but the camera went into the dustbin

  • poor baby

  • Get him a friend! Greyhound are like potato chips, you cant have just one

  • What a boss! Just chillin' on the kitchen counter.

  • He's so beautiful! My greyhound was wondering where he was, getting her nose all over the screen looking for the dog making the same sounds she does!

  • @HardyBoyz009 my spaniel listens to the radio when I'm out to! Aha

  • poor baby misses his mommy.... I would let him do any thing he wanted short of chewing up stuff.

  • My Greyhound is the same! But I leave the radio on turned down low, and on a talk show so he can hear voices.

  • mine never does that, she's scared of heights!

  • aww my greyhound does the same thing. well not anymore, since we got a second dog, but still, reminds me of the early days :-)

  • hes on the counter btw

  • haha he is as naughty as our cats! good thing you dont leave stuff out. :)

  • Awwww your dog is really cute and kinda naughty at the same time

  • thumbs upp if u laughed at :37

  • ):

  • Rocket is so cute! My friend has two grey hounds, and I love feeding them during dinner time. The boy is a typical bed jumper or sofa jumper. But neither of them tried to jump on the dinner table! (We sometimes put vase and flowers on the table).

One of the comments reminds that there is always music in their home. They do leave the radio on while nobody is at home.

    I love greyhounds!

  • Muscular sombitch, eh?

  • My Greys ears perked when poochie here was crying.

  • This greyhound, for all the people who are going on about boredom, isn't bored. He is experiencing what is called 'seperation anxiety'. it is common in ex racers because in most racing kennels they are either kenneled in pairs, have people around most of the time, or have the radio on. This grey has none of those things which is why the crying, jumping around etc. Our three no longer need the radio on and are more than happy being left.

  • lmao my own greyhound's ears are perking up :P

  • My 2 Greyhounds never jumped on top of counters..think it would hurt there backs if they did..Your coffee pot in the background..I have the same one..lol

  • he was staring out the window that is why he mowned

  • He's beautiful! I'm looking to add another grey to our pack. It's almost addicting!

  • fuck your place is really white

  • I have a greyhound of my own and we have always wanted to know what she does when we are not home. I love greys!!!

  • That's hilarious! I'm glad I have windows on the front of my house so my 3 greys don't end up on the countertop!

  • I have a question for all the Greyhound junkies out there. My hubbs and I live in central New Hampshire (U.S., not U.K.) and as everybody knows, it gets very cold and we get a ton of snow. Can they thrive okay in this type of climate? We've been talking about adopting one from a rescue group but want to make sure they can do alright with cold & snow. Nice video BTW. :)

  • @Blackhawkflygirl Oh absolutely. Just get him/her a decent coat for the cold months.

  • @sapphyra - That's great, thanks so much for getting back to me. :) I think we'll go ahead and begin the adoption process now. Finally, after 2 yrs of researching what dog would be best for us! Love Greyhounds :)

  • My Greyhound LOVES the sofas When we come home hes either pulled down all the cushions on both or is sleeping on one! He is amazing and beautiful and I <3 Him Sooo Much xxx

  • You can't just tell a greyhound or any dog not to get on the coutner, it just wont work

  • Poor Rocket knew he was NOT going to be good! He looked down and away as you said that. My poor boy, Joey, won't even get up on the bed (about 40cm). He wants all 4 feet firmly on the ground at all times. 12-18 seconds looks like a bad '70's horror film: "Attack of the Giant Sand Monsters!"

  • So cute, well loved by the looks of him. I love how neatly they can jump up. Our boy Zoomie, a retired racer, would love to jump up onto the bench too, but he settles for jumping up on the bed!

  • At least he wasn't scooting along the counter! XD

  • SOOO LOVE THIS>

  • LOL ONE OF MY FAVORITE DOGS!!

  • hahaha that was funny

  • separation anxiety.. I agree. I have had IG's for about 18 years and always have at least 2 and always leave animal planet on for them to watch.

  • I LOVE my greyhounds!! They are too lazy to counter surf....

  • is there any windows for him to look out of? We have a floor window at home and Baby never jumps up on furniture or anything. But as soon as I take her to my parents she jumps on the couch as its the only way to see out the window.

  • aww he is wondering were u have gone

  • I love his snouty!!!!

  • I love my hounds:)

  • God that look like my dog.. and he does the same thing

  • Lol, he's stuck on the counter until somebody can get him off. Beautiful greyhound by the way.

  • Beautiful greyhound!

  • Poor thing is stuck on the counter until somebody gets home.. now I've seen it all! Thanks for posting.

  • does he cook too? jb

  • i use to have an greyhound, everytime you go outside they watch you anyway they can to see if your safe, usually if another dog or person approaches you, they bark like crazy

  • LOL! That is one funny dog!

  • omg wow..thats scary how they jump up on the counters...

  • well my greyhound is a rescued race dog but when we leave she cries just like that and it has nothing to do with her being bored it is just she needs human contact after realizing what it is like nice dog by the way

  • why dont you stuff a bone or give a toy with treats in it. maybe he won't be so bored then

  • The poor boy has separation anxiety.

  • :O:O:O

  • I love this video! I must have watched it at least 10 times. I have two greyhounds at home, and I can't imagine them jumping on my counter! Love those hounds! =o)

  • God bless your doggies heart

  • You have one cheeky hound! ;) I accept that our cats get up there but I would never have dreamt in a million years that Daisy the grey might, lol! Better not show her your vid or she might get ideas ;-)

  • ROFL

He is "Freedom drunk and Counter bound" lol

    and lonely.

    more please

  • im soooo jelus! ours doesn't even jump.

  • Mine just counter surf.... Thats too funny! Arent Greys awesome?

  • LOL what a darling! Naughty but cute ;)

  • omg! that's the funniest thing I've seen a grey do! ours 'counter surf' , but neither have done that (that we know of)

  • haha

  • The most my greyhound has EVER weighed was 76 pounds. We feed him like crazy but he still cant gain weight.

  • I can't even get my greyhound to jump in the car! I have to lift all 90 lbs. of him!

  • Mine too. She refuses to get in the car.

  • Ours loves to go for rides, just can't jump in the car. It's not even an Suv.

  • greyhounds are great but i like great danes a hair better...

  • hahaha thats so funny because my greyhound chloe does the same thing and we also caught it on camera sometimes we find her sleepin on the stove hope i dont leave it on by accedent one day.

  • Looks like he was just missing Mommy.

  • Thats funny...dog jumps up there like its nothing. Looks like a giant version of my dog..phoebe the italian greyhound :)

  • OMG!!!!!! that looks nearly identical to my Greyhound!!!! Dont you just love the cute way they someimes close their mouth when breathing, take a moment to think and continue? i also love that little stump of a tail....looks like a brush but is jut part of the Greyhound beauty. HIGH FIVE PROUD GREYHOUND OWNERS!!!!

  • Great vid

    5/5

  • They're probably anxious because it's so quiet in there. Try leaving a radio on.

  • @MiataBRG Do they really get anxious is it is quiet?

  • @MatchCard YEAH it's incredible! I leave the radio blasting during the day and I find my dog asleep right in front of it! Then he FLIPS OUT when I leave him without the radio on.

  • @pravinmb is it just greyhounds or any dog?

  • @bombercat123 I think it's largely greyhounds, specifically ex-racing greyhounds which are kenneled for many hours a day. Apparently they keep the music running 24/7 or else the dogs flip out. I'm not sure if I agree with the way they treat them, but then my dog would go into his cage and just sit there and do nothing for MANY hours until it was time for a run. Racing greyhounds are incredibly unique... mine didn't play fetch, tug of war... nothing. just wanted to run 3x a day.

  • @bombercat123 I have three ex racers and the advice we were given was to leave the radio on when we first left them home alone so that they didn't stress out.

  • @MiataBRG i think that really helps! I leave the tv on low-med. volume sometimes

  • OMG he is gorgeous and SOOOOOOOOO adorable

    I love him

Pamela ( mom to greys from the USA for 20 wonderful years)

  • Just a side note, if you've seen my Hurricane Ike slideshow, this video of Rocket was taken in the beach house that appears in the slideshow. The picture of the beach house on fire has this house in it. The grey contemporary house across the street from the one burning WAS ours. We sold it last month. That is the kitchen Rocket was in.

  • ive never seen a whiter kitchen!

    sweet dog... bless. x

  • That's nothing... mine puts on womens clothes and sings Judy Garland songs when we're out!!

  • that house is all white like the ones in the comercials

  • Awe, poor guy misses his mum. The beginning where you can only see his foot and cute overbite is adorable. My rescued Grey fortunately does very well left alone and stays out of trouble. She's been an angel since the day i got her at age 2.

  • i used to race mine stonepark at milton keynes his name now is archie paid a £1000 for the biggest tub of lard ever so much carackter would of paid 5g if i had it if u aint owned a greyhound u never had a dog he is 13yrs now won a few races 2nd 2 derby winner but means nothing with the pleasure he gives me nudge in me out of bed every night they are the best get one u no it makes sense

  • Lovely dog! Got to agree with other comments, two greyhounds are better than one!

  • omg i luve greyhounds they r so cute we r getting 2 of em today!

  • I prefer mommy at the beginning of the video...

  • I loved this video! I just had to laugh, very cute, but he needs a buddy.

  • there is a nother greyhound in the house. you can see it at 27 sec, it walks past.

  • oh yeah!

  • Uh, no, it's the same dog turning the corner.

  • He is a lovely greyhound, but hey, aren't they all.He 'cries' just the same as my girl Daisy,he really looks very sweet and like he has lots of character. My greyhound would love him.x

  • yup. same whine as my Micah

  • What a great looking grey! Maybe if he had a friend they could keep eachother busy. My boy is getting a friend in June and we are lucky he isn't a counter surfer. Thank you very much. He is the perfect greyhound! Just like your boy is to you.

Oh yeah, Gamemonn...go back to watching AOTS

  • That is great. I want to set up a camera now to see what my grey does.

  • He's a gorgeous dog. Beautiful coat.

  • Hes so cute it,s funny in the beging when all you see is his paws and nose.:)

  • That is soooo funny. He is a mountain goat! Mine prefer the overstuffed couch.

  • I have watched and watched this video and it cracks me up every time, I love him! He's so cute!!!! Congrats.

  • omg i now think i need to install a video to see what my grey is up to when we leave!

  • Gorgeous Boy - He's so darn cute up there looking out :)

  • I bet our girl would do the same thing if we had suitable counter tops... ;-)

  • At first he could not get down, and we would walk in and hear him whining. We then had to pick up him (84 lbs), and put him down. He has now mastered it! We thought of trying to keep him off but feel badly that he's just trying to see out to watch for us to return. Now, we accomodate him by making sure there is nothing on the counter in his way!

  • In his defense he is a sight dog. I am now wondering what mine do when I leave though.

    Can he get down?
