Great dogs indeed. I have a 6month old named "Shunka".

This word is a Lakota Sioux word meaning "Dog".

His full name is "Sunkmanitu Tanka", which means "Wolf".

He is a Blue Sable, and resembles a Timber Wolf. Can't show him since he isn't standard color, but we do Shutzhund, and he is all the things you listed. Loves kids!

Sire is Red sable, Dam is Bi-color, black over tan.

He and one sister came out "Blue", but that's fine with us.

Many German Shepards here in the US have a sort of "raked back" confirmation it the hindquarters. The rear legs crouch love to the ground and give the back a front to back slope. These dogs are so sad to see, because of the hip dysplasia they get. American breeders should be ashamed. The dogs in this vid are properly bred, and you can see how robust they are. This is a resilient breed, great dogs, but do yourself a favor and get a true Alsatian from overseas if you're in the US. No mills!

A German shepherd I once owned got very bossy with me. I got her full-grown and I liked the dog so much that I failed to me firm with her. So she started bossing me around. She demanded to be taken out when she wanted to go.  She also loved to be talked to by me and was very fond of being petted. She would never willingly leave my side for a minute. She'd protect me with her life but I just wasn't firm enough with her. She was spayed before I got her if that made any difference.

One of the German Shepherds I owned practically told me what to do. They can do this if you're not firm (but loving) with them. They actually get bossy toward a "weak" master. Mine loved to me talked to. They'll protect you to the death. They're the most amazing dogs with almost-human traits.

Saku is coming out December 4th, 2010 on a youtube site near you. Ill be posting the trailer on November 22, 2010 on youtube. This is the best movie I ever made. Also the other dog he is running with on 0:29, 0:36, 1:07 is also going to be a character which I named Spring. There will also be a maltese named Joe, a cavalier king charles spaniel named Lily, a yorkie puppy named Tiny, a border collie puppy named Wrigley, a cat named Mory and a bloodhound named Fred.
