The game is really good i just dont like the combat.... often times you are too far or you have to be facing your target and its slow... if you double click you should be able to auto walk up to your target and face them

there are 4 races; elves, dwarves, hobbits and men and there are 7 or 8 classes; hunter, burglar, captain, champion, lore master, guardian and with the new expension you can be classes like the warden and another one. expension races lvl cap from 50 to 60 and adds areas moria and lorien moria is very huge but you can find all this information on the internet!!!

Actually just to clear things up with people, Lord of The Rings Online is one of the best mmorpgs for graphics. Seriously it hangs on there with AoC, theres no doubt that this video shows practically nothing..........seriously search high quality ones. Not this! It IS one of the most advanced graphically.

Is this game anything like Star Wars Galaxies? I've been thinking about buying this game because my SWG isn't working anymore for some reason. I tried playing WoW, but it just didn't satisfy me like SWG did. In the taverns, can you like.... talk to people? Or do you press /1 or whatever to speak in "Town Chat" like in WoW? I really hated that about WoW. You never actually looked at the person you were talking to. That's what I miss most about SWG. =(

No there is no talking with people in a tavern unless they're quest givers or vendors. Yeah i miss that from SWG as well, like in the cantina in mos eisley the stormtroopers coming in to do inspections etc. Too bad SWG sucks now. lotro is just like wow just better graphics and a story driven quest system.

Damn. =( Yeah, that was what made me fall in love with SWG. Killing that stormtrooper in the cantina at ME and lagging out the ents. Half of the ents would complain about the lag and the other half would be praising you for getting rid of the spam. =) Good ol' days.... I never would have left if it wasn't for my computer.

I just bought LOTR:O today. It may have influenced my decision if I read what you said about the talking thing.... that's a huge deal to me.
