Wow, what a bunch of hollywood BS. This movie is really a disappointment. The ninja used throwing stars as distractions, not actually weapons. Plus, the ninja way is adeptability to evironment and primaraly survival, therefore, they would not only subject themselves to using ONLY old weapons.

@wolfzombii When I was younger they had an older kid training with that chain weapon. They had a plastic blade that was dull and without a point. He still ended up with all kinds of bruises... but it's bad ass to learn.

@JMWproduction and there you can actually notice that they used wires to lift him up. There is no way he could learn to do this kind of pushup in 6 months, however hard he trained.

@SanAndreasExplorer Yes, he did. In Strong Heart - talk show, he said that he lost a lot of weight and prepared for a long time especially for this scene. And from what I know, there were NO ropes holding him...but well I might be wrong, but he said so himself.
