I was excited for this anime. Finally! An anime I could show my friends without being ashamed. Badass right? Zombies and what not? Plus the sheer brutality of this show, it looked so good. Now don't get me wrong I love zombie series, but this anime disturbed me a lot. Not from the gore or the zombies but from the fan service, there is WAY to much of it. It makes the women look like sluts for god sake. I wouldn't mind it if it was when they were relaxing but during a fight with the zombies? I might watch it again to try and get into it, but for god sake cut down on the fan service in the second season, please.

@vulgarjack I complain about it only because I feel it detracted from an awesome storyline. I enjoyed this stories original manga. Sure, fanservice was rife all over it, but it was well done, and the action and ecchi were mostly kept seperate except for a few moments. However, the anime just plastered tit'n'panties every few seconds in every scene, and that broke up all the action too much, it became too difficult to get the *feel* of the plot.

However, the R+V manga is MASSIVELY different, kinda like the difference between the two FMA anime. The starts match, but the anime just messed up certain scenes then went off on a random fanservice rant. The manga had a serious plot to it, with a real enemy, and Tsukune becoming a far more key charecter.

@vulgarjack The major divergance was at the end of season 1. Ever think it was odd that Moka, despite being weakened by giving blood to Tsukune, suddenly beat Kuyo? That was the divergance point, in the manga Moka didn't beat Kuyo alone, Tsukune suddenly stood back up, pouring out huge amounts of vampiric Youki and looking vampiric. Kuyo, realising that Tsukune had revealed a monster form, froze long enough for Moka to pin him. Tsukune then smashed him with a headbutt, ending the fight.

The whole point of this show was the decay of morality during harsh situations and it barely extends on that, it may not be a bad anime but it is kinda overrated. Besides the artist for HOTD Drew alot of porn (hentai) back in the day, so if you REALLY want to see boobs that much, just look up inuzuma. But alot of the girls are unlikable, the main character is a cliche, Hirano kicks multiple asses though, I love him. He is morbidly obese jesus.

@2tooful you will have to continue from chapter 18 since episode 12 ends at chpt 17. The anime doesnt follow the story exactly like the manga but close. For a second season its gonna be awhile. only 28 chapters are out as of now.
