  • Hey, Have you guys seen the new Windows 7 powered StudioBLADE computer workstations? They're perfect for running FL Studio and all your windows compatable plug-ins! Click the link below to see videos!

  • can you do a tutorial on how to make the beat drop in a hip hop beat please iv been asking you that for so long

  • @toxicwaste08300 make a short intro without bass, then when you want it to drop, put a crash and add the bass, tadaaaaa!

  • @novastyleNL crap

  • @toxicwaste08300 do you know what that phrase means, making the "beat drop". Its quite simple. Its simple creating a build up with a contrast of frequencies , now to simplify that it simply means creating a buildup for your intro before the main intro drops in, simple eg reverse cymbal and a set of toms before your main beat kicks in, if your still unsure pm me

  • yo this shit is off tha hook man!!!

  • you are a fuckin genius

  • Were can I find the amplitude plug in???

  • @ninjabeatzkill

  • wut version of amplitube is this?

  • 'Cause automation is cool.

  • I dont care what anyone says about this guy, He knows what hes talking about and he knows how to get a message across in a very easy manner. Ive seen a lot of tutorials on you tube, on fl studio; at warp speed and they are simply shit! If you want to convey a message to a wide audience,(and I believe this is his goal), you have to explain yourself in such a way, you cant just fly into it. Unless your Dj jazzy Jeff and all you other pros out there.

  • how do you hide instruments/samples

  • There is an easier way to add wah wah and thats using the buzz effect adapter and selecting wahman pro.

  • he talks too much guys ... but it`s ok

  • Automation is cool! Changed my FL life for the better!

  • He, he, I never realized what is the purpose of formula controller. Thanx for explaining, you're THE GREATEST! ;]

  • thank you so much nfx... you have been a great teacher and I am now finally making my own music again. thank you

  • That's more like it! I'm sick of people complaining about how much he talks... I never knew Free could be such a negative thing. Upload some tunes brah

  • Exactly. The more he talks, the more knowledge he gives us. If you don't want to take the time to listen you won't progress..

  • Thanks man ! amazing ... i am finally getting to it!

  • Excelente tutorial. Mandou muito bem!

    .

    Greatings from Brazil man!

  • 1000 thanx!!!!

  • Great tips man, learned a lot of useful things, specially the formula controller... nice.

  • you are talented. who taught u all this

  • WONDERFUL TUTORIAL!! I totally learned everything I needed from it and it was very clear! Thanks!

  • i wish i could use FL. i cant make something near as good as his little base line :(

  • damn then that has to suck for you!!! no worries tho I use to have no skills either but if you keep at it and work hard at it you'll get it down!! ;)

  • I want to see thats man face.

  • @darkoon2008 Ha his voice reminds me of one of my 7th grade football coaches so I just picture him talking to me.

  • @darkoon2008 Maybe it's a girl 0_o Scary

  • I enjoy all of your tutorials. You have a lot of talent. ; )

For some reason Amplitube crashes FL Studio when I try to use it.

  • How do I put Amplitube in FL Studio?

  • put it into C/vstplugins(or something like dat)put the dll data into that folder run fl studio go into the mixer click on a arrow that goes down(yeah im good in english)then"select">"more then press refresh(right bottom)"then fast scan now it should be there in red letters so click on the empty field in front of it DONE

  • Yeah, I figured out how to, but I get a bunch of digital artifacts when I use it. Is there a way to fix those?

  • cuz automation is just cool

  • @ChiefActionjackson Ain't that the truth!

  • Why isn't nfx makin beats professionally? This dudes crazy....

  • someone gona hire you eventually if your not already hired!!!!

  • NFX Ur the man!!!!

  • "Because Automation is just cool." Lmao, nice tut, seriously. :)

  • PAUL STANLEY????

  • Hey Nfx,

when you have the first formula controller

and the fruity filter, you can see your cutoff

frequency knob varies from about 25% cutoff to 75% but mine varies from 0% till 100% which gives an extreme filter effect ( I guess you might have heard some and it sucks) although i have got the exact same formula, why is this?

  • Awesome tutorial, "Because automation is just cool!"

  • Dude make a ''how to make muted guitar tutorial'' pleaseeeeee!!!:)

  • YEA man you r the best.we got to give you the F.L master nickname:):)

  • I have noticed that you are using an instrument inside the soundfont,

is it a problem when I use a guitar 'sample' instead of a real plugin?

Because I have noticed that in the first place when I record in the piano roll,

the velocity is the same all the time.

  • It's trigonometry all over again!

    Haha xD

Thanks for the tutorials, you rock :D

  • nfx = the master of fruity loops

  • This is great! I've used this wah wah effect for one of my beats, it's great.

  • kool username man!

  • get more from x123guitar.blogspot(dot)com

  • Awesome possum tutorial! Thanks a lot! I had no idea you could link non-native plugins to controllers like that.

  • yo! how do i get a wah wah guitar effect like on they have on that song "budunkadunk" by twista? i wanna learn how to make those kind of wah wah sounds if anyone knows just respond to this so i can learn!! thanks

  • does fl studio 8 is dissame with this fruity loops??

  • FL = FruityLoops

  • just as i thought lol hehe thanx man!

  • because automation is just cool, lol, love it XD

  • lawl because automation is just cool lololololololololol sound like Kanye West ^_~.

  • this is actually really easy...how come i never thoght of that!!!thanx nfx!!

  • omg thank you! ive been wanting to know how to do this forever!

  • use samples or learn to play guitar, i find my samples and record my own instruments

this seems like too much work no? all that work and it wont sound as good as the real thing

  • its just funny if he says 'ill get to it in a second' and then he forgets it :D but thanks alot you have very nice tutorials

  • very helpful, thanks

  • Is that the same thing, like give any sample a number that is the patern on the mixer?

  • it seems like this is from 1996

  • A man i was wondering if you could do a reverb effect tutorial. Maybe mixed in with other subjects. I try looking for some out there. Like the echo effect. Thanks.

  • anyone know how to make a tremolo effect on fl?

  • Use volume parameter instead of wah??? Amplitube might have a tremolo effect, I know Guitar Rig 2 does. I prefer to automate wah manually, more control.

  • hi

ive found amplitube on the net v 101 jimi hendrix is this the one your using, could you please let me know thank you....

  • nice

  • where do you get amplitube?

  • where do you get amplatude?

  • wow, that's great, free tutorials. good lookin' out man, appreciate it.

  • ...how did you put amplitube in fl,,,i tried to install it before but i can't do it, this one goes in the effects folder or not?...!Thanks...

  • go to my computer, then your harddrive, program files, find image line, fruity loops, plugins, VSTs and drag it into there, and then open FL and click channels > add one > More... > Refresh (the recommended one)> and it should be highlighted in red double click it and it comes up in FL

  • it didnt work on my pc too

  • Wow, you're great with music. I just have to say thanks again for all these tutorials.

  • Great tutorial!

  • Wow, I was watching this tut in pure fun... I didn't know the trick you used to get a plugin to link to parameters within FL. I'm so glad I caught this tut! Thanks man.

  • superb ;)

  • hehe, biggest respect for your vids. you mos def set a standard for fl tutorials. thanks. :)

  • Nice, what king of plugin did u use 4 the guitar...?

  • a soundfont

  • Thanks NFX! Your tutorials have been most helpful. I hate how despite years of trying I keep having those small details I just can't seem to figure out. I've found solutions to most of them from your videos. :)

  • Comment removed

  • its an effect

  • Nice Voice!

  • lol "dont worry if you dont know what this means, i know i dont."

  • lol... "automation is just cool" another grate one NFX.. ur fuckin cool.v dont stop makin these tutorials

  • and there you go.just like that.man you are bad ass..cool video..thanks for all the tips.

  • Did you create FL? You seem to know it like the back of your hand.

  • I like the bass line.

  • Yo, NFX appreciate the work, but could you please make a tutorial on the fruity filters ??? to me its the most common effect apart from the EQ's and I still don't know how to use it.

  • hey NFXBeats, If you want to automate external plugins, all you have to do is go the sound browser, click current project, then click effects or generators depending on which vst your using, then choose the plugin you want to automate, knobs will appear then you can automate individaul knobs on external vsts

I made a tutorial of it, just click on my profile you'll find it there.

  • Thanks!

  • ur sooo good man

  • so simple, so effective.. thanks for sharing your knowledge

  • funky!

  • dude! that 'last tweaked parameter' setting is GREAT! Thanks!

  • i found on warbeats dot com a scott storch package and it had a bunch of wah wah wah guitar parts. but thx anyway

  • this way u can be original, and make ur own shit instead of just use scott storch sounds...
