You can't play Russian Roulette with a semiautomatic handgun!

A revolver is loaded with 6 or 8 shots depending on the number of chambers in the cylinder. It will not fire if the trigger is fired with an empty chamber.

With a semiautomatic pistol, the pistol magazine is loaded from the top down so that if there is only one or ten or fifteen slugs in the magazine, the internal spring will always pop a fresh slug into the chamber everytime the trigger is pulled.
