  • I see in the video for the line art you used a magic marker. My question to you is have ever tried to use the brush if so why'd prefer using the magic maker over any of the ink-pens for the line art portion?

  • @Kinghenry009 i actuallu prefer using the pens and brushes now, if you notice, the inking video is newer than this one and i also explain why in the other video

  • nice but how do you get your lines closed so easly that you can use magic wand :S

  • Arrrgh i need someone good like this to do this for me lol. Desperatley need a good inker and toner. Bleh so much talent like this and always far away in the world haha.

  • not BLACK , BLEACH <3 :D youre awesome

  • digital inking or traditional inking which do you prefer?

  • is it hard to ink with the mouse or do you not use a mouse?

  • @blackfrench15 he doesnt use a mouse he uses a drawing Tablet ;)

  • Making Manga is 100% useless...

  • @clafann1

    its for entertainment, like youtube.

  • @clafann1 if you think its so useless, why are you watching this?

  • @blackfrench15 ....Maybe because he felt it would help...

  • @clafann1 you re useless, talking shit with no clue.. manga makes happy millions of ppl arround the world whiile you sit here complaining about it, it teaches you about emotions, streaches your imagination barriers... if manga is useless so are all comics, films, story books etc... but they are not

  • @WhytMangaStudio fantastic:D!!!!! i have a question...i just got this program and im wondering how to write my story format-wise. do you write yours like the traditional japanese way or "american" way??? plz answer so i can start writing my book:D

    thank you:D

  • @projectlifemanga depending on where its gonna be published, if its gonna be published in japan, then i'do go japanese but its gonna be published here then go american, i am also a little unsure on the topic but thats what i think.

  • Certainly bleach inspired art. Good work though. Is it better to draw on paper, scan it in and modify or do you try to draw directly in Manga Studio at once?

  • @ngubod16 both methods are great depends on which one ur more comfortable with

  • Love the character designs, dude! I'll be sure to look at more of your work.

  • omg i hear music from "The Bouncer" game for ps2... i love that game lol

  • could you please tell me the best fonts that you use to make the dialogue!! thx :)

  • @akhanian honestly things like that depend on the artist, you could try "wild words"

  • @WhytMangaStudio What paper size do you use for all your manga's? For example A4 300dpi fixed page???

  • @MangaReach B4 600 dpi

  • How long does it usually take you to finish a page?

  • @waxabee couple of hours

  • I see you style you're charcters like bleach nice

  • hey um i justt wanted 2 ask do u get a better lineart finish doing it digitally that by hand?

  • @hasula202 for me, most times yeah

  • That's so awesome! :D And that guy looks a bit like Kenpachi XD

  • your character design is very interesting. the manly sideburns dude has a kenpachi type feel to him. which is good. his hair is also cool looking.

  • Hey dude just curious but did you ink Candle Jack in this process?

  • @REYMangaka candle jack was done differently, i upload behind the scenes of candle jack soon, i've just been lazy...i sketch with blue lead pencil and inked traditionally then scanned into manga studio then, paneled, toned and text bubbled. i know its not as easy as it sounds. here i am inking digitally

  • Comment removed

  • ok so i watched both vids on inkin and tones and they helped but its like i dont know how you got the panels like that then but like I said before its becuz i dont have manga studio and......i would like to know if manga studio is worth it becuz i draw traditional like ikon36 right now but i wanna end up were you are but i just wanna know cuz u do both draw traditionally then uploaed it to manga studio

  • @ARCxBEETLEx72 ok, then watch the how to panel video on my channel and the other one on my other channel...they are different activities so i gave them seperate videos, still have questions ask me

  • what fonts do you use?

  • @JTrudy808 The font he's using for the speech is called 'wild words'

  • @xPeAcEfOeVa thanks for letting me know!

  • how old are you?

  • @Animiluver 18

  • @WhytMangaStudio cool. (: I' m 14. . you have amazing skills.

  • @WhytMangaStudio can u upload a video of you doing that then ??

  • @lilshotz i will do that, im upcoming how to draw backgrounds video

  • dude do u work by hand or is it all done on your computer?

  • @lilshotz this was done all in the computer, but normally i draw then scan in and edit in manga studio

  • This is manga studio debut 4.0 right! if it is awesome!!!! :DDDD

  • do you use a tablet?

  • @jayubig yeah

  • gotta say man your stuff does look slick!

what do you use for drawing? Wacom?

  • @SensenFukokuProjects thanx meyn and yes, i now have a wacom, before i didnt, it was hell!

  • @WhytMangaStudio lol i know..i gotta get me a awesome one too XD the one i got now is crap...

    well, keep it up man!

  • Interesting, you use the magic marker tool instead of the pen tool. I could never get it to come out that well. I really like how you made your own bubbles, I've just been using the defaults. Now I really want to make my own!

  • @mangaS0L ..right now i hate the pen tool so much, i will only use it when i master it

  • cool

  • Great video and sick background of Black! Liked and Faved

  • @ProjectMeshumi THANX!

  • TY VERY MUCH this was very helpful i see what my issue with inking was 1. I was trying to be neat i realize now i can be a lil more "messy" but stil have it look awesome 2. i never thought of using the marker i always just thought "oh pen i'll use that for inking". but question why do you use the marker and not the pen? what the big difference between them? and can't wait for the next tut i suck at backgrounds lol (sry for the long comment)

  • @ArtOfAnime1 ..i just prefer the marker...i have not mastered the pen

  • @WhytManga oh ok just wondering

  • @WhytManga umm also when i said "messy" what i meant was more like a sketchier lineart mine is all digital looking and obviously done on the computer yours is more closer to traditional looking. just thought i'd clear that up so there's no confusion. how you didnt take it the wrong way at first -.-;

  • @ArtOfAnime1 i didnt, this is just how i do mine, honestly, i dont ever plan drawing in manga studio, i will draw on paper and scan it in, then edit and tone in MS4.0, because for me at my stage, its almost impossible to draw great backgrounds in manga studio without spending hours, my manga will ultimately be traditional...THATS ANOTHER TUTORIAL

  • @WhytManga i would do the same thing but the only kind of inking tool i have is a fine point sharpie lol and i dont have the money to get the good inking pens. because it takes me FOREVER to ink in MS

  • Nice one man, Amazing work!!

  • digital inking is hard without a tablet. But good job!

  • looks awesome dude. do you use this method for your manga too? or do you ink with a pen and screen tone it in manga studio?

  • @milafa007 ..i ink traditionally for my manga, not digitally like this

  • I have Manga Studio Debut 3.0, is there any relevance? One thing about that though; I got it on Christmas while at my grandpa's house, and I installed it on his computer, all the while being unaware of the fact that it was software, and would never be able to be re-downloaded ever again >.>

  • @bajiikrocks i have never used 3.0, it should be too different tho

  • @WhytMangaStudio Thanks for the reply ^-^

I really wish I could remove the program from my grandpa's comp and put it on my own, but I don't know how I;'d go about doing that >.>

In any case, how do you create manga templates? Is there supposed to be some sort of shortcut or proper manner to it?

  • @bajiikrocks check out my other tutorial on panels

  • hey pretty good! so u use thin lines all the way?

  • @marcusqwj i try to keep it traditional while being digital...lol

  • @WhytMangaStudio but there are still things to see, like wehn i entered the second panel

  • i wish you finished!

  • @TheHaharater me too

  • nice panelling!
