I remember this song when it first came out, when I was just a tyke. Years later, I heard a clip of it during a radio documentary about the Doors. Returning from an ad break, I heard, "Hi, this is Robbie Krieger from the Doors, and we're back in 1971." Then a clip from this was played, along with ones from Carole King's "It's Too Late," and something from Sly & the Family Stone. Great tune, groovy memories! Thanks so much hauser82!

this song always gets me enthusiastic and revved up. believe it or not, song was 10 or 15 years before my time, so i first heard it on the movie dead presidents with chris tucker getting blazed on the couch with a heroin needle in his arm. anyways, song is the top of the food chain. one of the best r&b songs ever.
