Are you crazy why would they make the car stock with two pipes if it ruined the car. It's not a honda, just because you reduce weight by switching to a single exhaust dosent mean you'll get a car that is that much faster. It's not all about the looks, crappy exhaust like this belong on cheap hondas and nissan sentras. As for the weight of the exhaust, you can have custom exhaust that fit the stock bumper and it will still be lighter than stock and will still sound better than this.

@cchshockey4 These are very detuned they can run on regular unleaded fuel. The srt needed premium and pushes over double the psi of boost. Crank this things boost up to around 15-16 psi and see what happens. I bet is a totally different animal. Not dissing the srt4 btw I owned one before just have to look at all the facts.

@ wachissbigtex - With a turbo vehicle, you get the best gains from a single exhaust because there is less friction. With the duals the exhaust has to split into 2 pipes and so on throught the tips, thats why a lot of people, when they race, just go open downpipe since there is no restriction. Basically the faster you get the exhaust out the better the gains, but i agree that particular exhaust system doesn't look good at all : /
Poor use of space. I guess to each his own. I hate fart cans. Especially when the car came with dual or quad and they only put single. There are other means of unrestrictive exhaust than fart cans. Many companies make a straight through muffler with different sizes for different tones. You add a tail pipe and some tips. Looks like stock to the normal person but it's not. This is the reason people call us ricers.
First of all a fart can is a fart can no matter what it supposedly does... and no a straight pipe would be the least restrictive... And finally fuck ford and their POS cars... Their trucks arent horrible though.
Nice sound, but the car would look a hell of a lot better if it had dual tips. And another thing, I never liked those exhaust tips in which the muffler is too big, round and damn near sticking out from under the car. UGLY!
A family sedan with a single exhaust is fine, but all sports cars and muscle cars look more complete, menacing and formidable with dual exhaust. A sports car, or muscle car with dual exhaust simply looks intimidating!
more than likely this car has an intake and aftermarket blow off valve. but from the back of the car you do not really hear the intake. the genesis coupe however does have a really loud factory blow off valve which you can hear after only installing an intake but it does not sound like the blow off valve in his video.
tanabe does not yet make an exhaust system for the genesis. you can buy universal mufflers from their website and then go to a muffler shop to get the piping done. if you go this route, make sure you go to a muffler shop that mandrel bends their pipes and not crush bends.

Nice sound, but the car would look a hell of a lot better if it had dual tips. And another thing, I never liked those exhaust tips in which the muffler is too big, round and damn near sticking out from under the car. UGLY!

I like single exhaust more, I dunno its more "tuner" although even saying that is stupid, its all your own opinion, dual mufflers is nice but.

A family sedan with a single exhaust is fine, but all sports cars and muscle cars look more complete, menacing and formidable with dual exhaust. A sports car, or muscle car with dual exhaust simply looks intimidating!

more than likely this car has an intake and aftermarket blow off valve. but from the back of the car you do not really hear the intake. the genesis coupe however does have a really loud factory blow off valve which you can hear after only installing an intake but it does not sound like the blow off valve in his video.

tanabe does not yet make an exhaust system for the genesis. you can buy universal mufflers from their website and then go to a muffler shop to get the piping done. if you go this route, make sure you go to a muffler shop that mandrel bends their pipes and not crush bends.
