If you take your old one to a drive shaft shop they can do it for $40-100 I know that because I usto be involved building wreckers and roll backs sometimes we would stretch or shorten the frame or move the axle
Heck for a small car/truck it might be cheaper either way not a big deal just as a truck shop where they get it done locally if you can't find it in a phone book.
Actually the 240sx and the hardbody are the same tranny though you could take the front housing off of the sr20 tranny and put it on the pick up tranny and that would be rather easy to do.
I don't know if the tail is the same too though. either way gotta love Nissan parts bin
@HarryCHAMBZ no they are the same ratio I've done research since this post one year ago they got the exact same ratios the axle would be different if anything.
@sidewayznut2009 really? i'll have to go back and read again, but i swear 4th and5th gear were longer than the 240 one. edit: here;s what i went by awhile ago i think... looks like the tail wont be right, it could possibly be 6inches shorter than the 240 trans and 5th gear is slow. ive never done the swap tho so i dont know.
awsome awsome awsoe, my only issues is what to do about intercooler ducting because of the front bumper, any suggestions, the rest is pretty straight forward. its meant to be there basicly...very cool , have fun with it .
way to state the brutally obvious. i was thinking along the lines of a v mount with custom rad support , real mods. not just slapping generic parts together.
The speedo isn't the only thing that's slow.... Super disappointed in this vid

Making drive shafts aren't that expensive.

@sidewayznut2009 same tranny, different gearing. your 240 would be slooow with a hardbody trans
