  • Hey I love this ad. We need it in Australia :)

  • Pure poison, nice packing...

  • @bluebibubble

It'd be nice if you substantiated that. If nuclear energy were poision, it'd have a goodly number of deaths per year, right? Quote me a number. I dare you.

  • @Fordi You're not living close to Chernobyl, for sure...

  • @bluebibubble

There are a total of three reactors in the world right now that can have a chernobyl-like accident, and they're all russian-owned. Nothing even approaching that complete buildchain disaster has or can occur in any US, French, Canadian, or Chinese reactor thus-far built or proposed.

Chernobyl was a combination of positive coefficient of radioactivity and lack of containment vessel, both concerns that the US had solved before RBMKs were even built.

  • @Fordi

So you agree that stuff is not clean...

  • @bluebibubble

I agree that RBMK reactors are not as inherently safe as light water reactors. However, I do consider nuclear to be a clean technology, so long as safety issues are well addressed. In the case of light water reactors, you have a negative coefficient of reactivity, gravity-based failsafes, layered containment, and a federally mandated continuous maintenance regimen that has learned from our own worst-case scenerio (Three Mile Island).

I am convinced that US Nuclear is clean.

  • It would be a great work, if the statements in the video would be reality! But the facts are different. There is no satisfactory recycling and disposal - AREVA has been legally prohibited the dissemination of these lies!

  • lol yeah right

  • @atomunfall

Areva satisfactorily recycles the spent fuel used in France, where they have sane nuclear regulation. Their actual waste backgrounds in under 300 years.

  • ridiculously well made....

I've just been commisioned to make an animated nuclear fuel cycle....this style might be asking a bit much

  • He didnt make it

  • Great work:)

  • I like that song and comercial, but who sing that song and what the name.
