  • is there a substite to the coppor tubing?

  • I found out the my gran has spikes so I could use them. The flag pole idea was good

  • Thanks do you have alot of birds in your garden? The grey squirrel comes to my garden alot ! Do you know how to stop that, because you seem like an expert!

  • @speckytom Well, I've noticed that squirrels can jump a long way and climb almost anything. My solution is to hang the feeder from the upper floor of my house suspended out (using the flag pole idea) about 2 feet from the surface of the wall. I hope you can find some solution for your garden!

  • That is a brilliant video it helped me alot! Can you tell me what you can use to hang it? Brilliant video can't beleive their is no comments! Thanks

  • @speckytom Thank you for your comments:) To hang the feeder I used the hole I drilled at the top of the copper pipe. This hole is just big enough for a piece of wire to go through. I hang my feeder away from the wall of my house using a flag pole (the type that projects horizontally from a wall). The piece of wire is attached to the pole using a hose clamp to stop it sliding along the pole. Somehow you have to prevent squirrels from gaining access - they like the seeds too!
