yes its true i do have QUIET shhhh appreciation for what british gave india , but in return they learnt lessons like tollerence , peace , etc from india . west was living too much materiliastic life , while in india ultimately they found out humans are in fact spiritual beings so there comes love for india . BRITISH learnt lot of things from india they dont even wanna talk about . GOOD GOVERNANCE IS IMPORTANT for humans thats for sure and india benefits from it ,
Thanks to Michael Wood for his great efforts of telling the histrory and greatness of mother India to the world.
Sri Rama is god to hindus in india. He teached us principles and implemented in his own life as how a human should be in terms of sincerity, honesty, respect to parents, respect to family, how to keep your promises, how to rule, how to safeguard the people, how to help the people in need, a complete democratic kind of rule giving full freedom to the people living under his rule
Sri Rama era is called as Golden Age where the humanity, peace, human values, money, gold were at peak.
For your information, the person who played as a god and king Rama in one of the scenes aboves is Legend actor and fomer chief minister NT RamaRao from Andhra Pradesh, South India. He is one of the greatest and legendary film actors and politicians in india. NTR is the only person played many mythological characters like Rama, Krishna, Ravana, Bheeshma etc
WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS WHY THESE BRITISH REPORTERS MAKING DOCUMENTRY ON INDIA REMEMBER THESE ASSHOLES DIVIDED INDIA WHEN THEY LEFT ( DIVIDE AND RULE ) INDIA IS MULTI CULTURAL COUNTRY AND RELIGIOUS BELIEVES ARE EASY TO MINIPULATE , , EVERY INDIA N SHOULD REMEMBER BRITISH DIVIDED INDIA ANCIENT CIVILIZATION , EASILY I WONDER WHAT ON THERE AGENDA NOW TELLING EVERY ONE WHO CAME FROM WHERE AND BASICALLY IMPLANTING DIVIDING THOUGHTS IN EVERY INDIANS MIND , be very careful
Funny. I didn´t realise that the British brought Islam and Hinduism to the place. There was also no country called India. Just a lot of warring and corrupt states fighting each other and robbing the poor.
there were lot of things, countries , races that never existed , not just india , that came into existance all of sudden , but the question is , what and who keeps will on going ? thats the real thing . and fight is for. i think we earthlings will be able to sustain civilization this time if America don't start world war 3 lol , O N and did you know ? we were just around the corner
@SHOOTER0072003 how could you omit the bestiality of ISLAM in Hindusthan, a peace loving country that never crossed her borders even once to invade Arabia to loot, plunder, abduct and rape and to occupy Mecca and raze Ka'aba to ground like the followers of Mohammed who destroyed our grand temples in Somnath, Ayodhya and Mathura, at the same time slaughtering and converting countless millions?
@foonty when truth divide people? ( WHICH BRITS ARE GOOD AT ) withheld truth . if its IMPORTANT for NATION . in canada BRITS TRIED REALLY HARD AND ARE SUCCESFULL IN taking INDIAN OUT OF (RED INDIANS) and indians fell for brits and french BS and now they are dying race , just like brits tried to opiumized CHINA and whole nation was almost DRUG ADDICT ,
I couldn't agree with you more. It's an honest effort to explore India and its spiritual self in its complex manifestations. I am an Indian and a non practicing Hindu (an atheist). I enjoyed the commentary.
@tapobrataha so that means you believe in SCIENCE , but my friend science was not possible without religion , DONT BELIEVE IT ? got computer ? research it
@SHOOTER0072003 Yes, I agree that as people tried to explain the universe around them, science and religion, went hand in hand. As an example, astrology and early astronomy went hand in hand. In the later period, religion strangled learning and research. Galileo's persecution by the Church is a pointer. So, 'science not being possible without religion' is two way street. As for myself, I believe in PHILOSOPHY. It covers pretty much everything. Don't believe it? Your time to go to the computer.
@tapobrataha Religion strangled astrology. Today so-called scientists like the boobs at NASA label it a pseudo science. There is every bit as much persecution and oppression today as ever before.
Then look at the commentary through white's eyes. His language to us is not condescending but objective even if a little light on detail. Nothing in what is said comes over as patronising or disrespectful. You would hear the same language used if her were to do a documentary on the history of England.
India is living history....one of its kind on earth...precious....
