  • the old country will never be beat im only 30 and i take the old over any new music any day i love it and always will

  • What a voice and what a beauty!

  • I like how they dressed then nice and decent

  • @justenp123 i agree.. they weren't dancing around the stage in leotards and making half nude videos in underwear and pants hanging off their butts

  • Oh Wow!!! my favorite song growing up...thank you so much for posting this

  • She sounds a lot like Patsy in her 60's songs, love her.

  • One of the great ones --- never will see the likes of her again, very sad.

  • One of the greatest, by one of the greatest. My god what has happened to country music? There isn't one of those slags in Trashville today that could carry her guitar for her, let alone even come within miles of singing with this lady.

  • @drmountebank1 Unfortunately there's a whole industry dedicated to keeping good songs down. For instance if you're a Nashville song writer and you write a song with the word "Tennessee" in the chorus you won't get your song out there because the focus groups feel alienated by the name of a state they don't live in. (This instantly makes people start thinking of all the songs they like with names of states in them.)

  • The new country clowns couldn't even carry the mic for these classic singers.

  • Lovely voice and lovely accent too

  • i just love the way she sings. she's amazing in every song.. this blue grass singer is and will always be my number one.. even i being 22 know when i hear real talent:)

  • and I don't understand Country Music Stations won't play this Country music but they play Taylor Swift???????? Who never will come close to standing in the shadow of greats like Loretta and Tammy

  • Loretta is what you see is what ;you get and I love that about her she sings the songs women want to hear and men need to hear, that is why her and Conway were so good together.

  • Im loving the fact that noone disliked this (y) Lets keep it that way shall we?

  • "The way you treat me is a shame / but I'll keep loving you the same"

Is this song dedicated to her husband Mooney?

  • wow!!!!what a delight to listen to someone that knows how to sing!! love her......

  • Now this is country! the music they label country today by my standerds just doesn't fit into the same catagory

  • i love it

  • Thats why she's the Queen of country music. Never be another one like her...

  • A truly beautiful woman with a gorgeous voice.

  • @C80ree it makes me cry to :)

  • I'm not ashamed to say her voice is so beautiful it makes me weep. Okay, I'm a little embarrassed.

  • @zingbing01 ...That's ok, go ahead & cry. I'm sure she's made us ALL cry once or twice! Loretta is amazing...always has been! :)

  • shes a country legend

  • I agree with you all . she is amazing . None will ever hold a candle to her. \

  • Wow what a good song. I love this gal she is a wonderful singer. She could take a bad song and make it wonderful. I've seen her 4 time in the last 3 years. She can still belt them songs out better than anyone now days. She's an awesome person. God Bless Loretta, Love you

  • good stuff <3

  • this young bunch don't know what real country is this lady stands heads up over all the rest

  • She still can't be out sung by any woman.... I sure miss seeing her and conway.. But most important she passed me in her tour bus with those big bold letters LORETTA LYNN sitting on the front seat looking out her window and with a beautiful smile waved at me.. Thats what a gal she is, she doesn't hide in an unnamed bus in the back she is always loyal to her fans.. Loretta your music will always live forever, God Bless you sweetheart

  • @brewsky38c ....Oh wow...now see? That's just the type of person I figured her to be! Just a total sweetheart! A down-to-earth kinda gal who never got "too big for her britches"...she started out poor and has never forgotten her roots. I just love that woman I tell ya! :)

  • I grew up hearing her music in our house as a kid ,, and I still love her , Loretta Lynn you are still the Queen Of Country Music ,, I am 51 years old now and I still love your music

  • she used to sing another song that I liked to sing when I was a kid, I can't remember the name, something about gettin over you, but I can't find it on here

  • You know I am a lifelong Loretta fan. I grew up only 1 generation and about 50 miles away from those coal mines of eastern Kentucky and I have seen many of my family eek out a living in similar circumstances as hers. People still sometimes want to think she is a country bumpkin but she said one of the most profound things I have ever heard to Johnny Carson about her success. She told him "you have to be first, best, or very unique, or all 3 at the same time". God bless you Loretta.

  • Compare this version up to the Wilburn Brothers show version. Why do they put this kind of garbitch behind Loretta Lynn?Cling clong Piano and rhythm section without any feeling for Lorettas deep feelings. Its a sin. The Wilburns show her Respect.

  • great voice...great person,i love her music.

  • Love Love Love Loretta

  • What happened to the great backing arrangement on later versions ?? nonetheless a great song by a great singer Thanks for posting. ( find another version of the song by her and see the diference)

  • Lawd ah merci!

  • I've been following this legends career since I was at leat five years old! My Dad was a regular viewer of The Wilburn Bros. Show and would always remind me when Loretta was on. I've never stopped following her legendary career!

  • I got to see her two weeks ago in Biloxi...and she still sounds like she's in here 20's! Go see her before it's to late...AWSOME SHOW!!!

  • WOW Dont you wish we could stay in our 20s for One Hundred Years!!!!!!!!

  • Now!!! This IS Country!!!!! country ain't COUNTRY no More!!!! Loretta is THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! Female Country Singer EVER!!!!

  • I agree!:)

  • Wow - 1 Loretta would out weigh 20 of the modern "country" singers. It's been nice to know this era of country music. The greatest there ever has been or ever will be.

  • thanks for sharing!!

  • This was one of my favorite songs by Loretto Lynn...

  • This is another song I really like by Loretta. She has written so many songs that I have lost count. We met her at Renfro Valley here in Kentucky a few years ago. She comes back every year for two nights of a great performance. I believe she turned 74 in April. Like some other older truly talented artists she sounds terrific as always. Thank you for posting. - Paula

  • I go to Renfro Valley every year to see Loretta in concert. I was there this year and she was outstanding as always. Long live the "Queen Of Country" Miss Loretta Lynn.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE Mrs. Loretta!

  • I can remember this song from when I was a kid. I always sang along as a 3 or 4 year old with my own words in some places (solid wall was a salad wall) lol. I can still smell the vinyl and the black Decca label as I begged my brother to play it over and over. Thanks for the memories.

  • Mercy Mercy, Mercy.. :), I'm doing my church dance, she has so much soul and dont even sweat it .. God Bless you.

  • I swear, loretta is my all time favorit, then and now and forever. I don't know why. Her voice is a musical instrument in itself. I have been a fan of her since I can remember, I am now 57 years old. You go girl... love you.

  • @dancedagain03 I love to hear her sing Gospel songs at her Concerts with no Music. in the background. She's Greta with it and with out it. Im going to see her the May 15. I Love Her So Much.

  • @dancedagain03....You don't know WHY? Maybe because she's the best there ever was or will be? :)

  • @dancedagain03 I'm 50 myself, turning 51 this year. Loretta made her Opry debut exactly 2 months after I was born. I've loved her since I was literally a baby. My cousin, Larry Estes, played drums for her and The Wilburn Bros. I met her the first time when I was only 4 years old. She's as wonderful now as she was then. It's always great to meet another lifelong fan.

  • this song still gives me shivers....One of my favorite singers. ... Do you have "Spring Fever". It's my absolute favorite LL song.

  • Great! I love this song. 5*****
