According to old configuration files that I checked he uses 110 fov. But the limit in JKA on pure servers (which most TDM servers are) lays on 97.3. So even if you were to set 500 as a value it will not matter. I personally always just set it to 97 so that I will not be surprised when I suddenly have to play on a pure server. On CTF servers my fov would be 125. In any way, it doesn't matter that much at all (depends on how you use your settings). Stick to 97 or 100.

Right on! JKA needs good fragvideos, and if my video managed to motivate others to pick up the pace and create great stuff on their own, that's even better! As long as you produce good quality material, unlike the stuff desp did for example (no offence to him), then i'm content and glad to see rev4 doing its job so well.

Nope, i don't really miss working on these things at all. Fragvids are a huge pain in the butt, especially if you do everything on your own. I do enjoy playing around in AE or assorted editing tools though, creating short, visually intense graphics of logos and whatnot.

Sorry for the late response:

Moving the camera like that was quite a tricky thing to do. The camera movement slows down when you use either avidemo or timescale, so what i did do was to script the camera movement in redslushie (the camera is actually stationary and only changes it's position very quickly) so as to make it move very fast, then slow down the scene with timescale and record!

best jka fragmovie ever. But u should have used the freecamera more often. It looks really awesome at 2:25-2:34.But the for the rest of the movie the camera just stayed (fixed) with the player.

i diddnt know u could do that with sony vegas, i always use Windows Movie Maker, and it seems to ALWAYS crash on me, and im using vista, + i just got sony vegas, so hopefully it will work a lot better than windows version of it! and after effects, can i make like the explosions with that? if i can i might get that program...

Yeah, you can make the explosions and a plethora of other quite awesome stuff with after effects, but it's somewhat difficult to get into. I mean, the learning curve is quite steep!
