I dislike Axis mainly because most of the cameras can be viewed through the internet.though not every one can be viewed online but its just that flaw i HATE

Axis left out a step... It appears that after mounting the wall mount, all you need to do is remove the camera dome from the shipping box and attach it to the wall bracket. Actually, you need to split the dome apart to remove a small matt of foam rubber that is placed between the plastci bubble and the camera mechanism which is used for protection during shipping. This takes a few minutes. Likewise if you want to add an SD card or it you need to hit the reset button.

Great camera except for one huge flaw, it has a seam in the dome that creates a blurry line near the horizon. There's even a company in Germany that sell replacement domes because the Axis dome is so poor.

Was there any water proofing applied to the bracket before it was put on the wall?

At 0:30, I would have put the cable on the bottom tab to act as a drip loop and caulked up the hole in the wall... The back of that unit doesn't look very waterproof/resistant.

@cj691 You can put the cable either on the top or the bottom, but the bottom is probably best as shown in the Installation Guide for the AXIS T91A Mounting Accessories (found on the AXIS Q6032-E product page on the Axis web site).

There was no waterproofing applied to the bracket before it was put on the wall. Please mind that the video wasn’t a real installation - just a demo.
