Probably busy watching the ASI and not the horizon, saw the speed and rotated without realising the wing was going down. You will only get away with thet once or twice before getting bitten.
Is this really close to a ground loop? I've seen that before, especially with Libelles. A wing drop on Winch launch is a dangerous things, and off course you should release as soon as you see she will touch/can't hold her off any more/does touch the ground.
The initial part of the ground run is OK but the pilot applies left roll and only just stopped the left wing from touching the ground, when the main wheel is a metre off the ground.
We had a similar incident with a Turbo Discus and the pilot touched the right wing on the ground. The glider yawed and rolled right through inverted and crashed with a dive angle of about 60 degrees with the nose pointing left.
Totally broken but the pilot was unharmed. (Cause, lack of awareness, not current).

I can see he is trying to correct before he breaks ground (aileron input seen above elevator @ 6.5 sec). He just did not have the airspeed yet.

Other than the ground run and seperation, that was a pretty nice run up the wire.
