I just saw him with the Gorillaz twice this past weekend in Dallas and Austin. It was easily two of the most amazing shows that I have ever witnessed in my life, and i've seen a whole lot of concerts. Damon just has such a presence on stage, he's so full of energy and you can clearly see how much he loves doing what he does because the entire time he was just wearing this huge grin. In Austin I was lucky enough to land front row and Damon grabbed my hand for a good while!

Funny that you mentioned about Rap/Hip Hop music. If you didn't know, the singer of this band "Damon Albarn" also has a virtual band called Gorillaz. Most of their tunes consist of Hip hop/ rap elements in their song. Rappers such as Bootie Brown, De la soul, MF Doom, etc.. were on the album Demon Days. You should check it out. Anyway, to say that Hip Hop isn't music is a bit ludicrous. Yes, probably all the songs played in the radio are garbage, but there are really good songs out there.
