In the show, he acturly got away from the cops before but he jacked a car which led to this chase and his arrest.

It's a real shame too, because he got away with skill and not luck.

its a good scene and all but if you know youre way around melbourne and that area in particular you will realise that wherever he lands and goes somewhere that when they change the camera view hes in a completely different spot
