The best song from a somewhat uneven album. But this is a killer, one of my all-time favourite songs. I just love how it keeps getting more and more desperate and intense at the end until it goes totally over the top at about 4:40.

Uneven but every bit as intriging as anything he's ever done, and a bit closer to the heart than we've heard from him before. It takes a few listens but there are some real chestnuts here.

There's so much sadness and desperation in this song. It makes me feel really sad for him as I listen to it. I'm not used to hearing David Bowie this way.
