What is clear in these ladies (and why they look so good compared to just about every other Greek dancers I have seen) is that they can use nice body/hip action and so they do not hop a lot in their steps. They incorporated the body/hip action technique of latin ballroom dancing (rumba and cha cha cha) in their steps.
Greek dancing has lots of jerky hopping and it can be smoother and look so much better when done this way.
Interesting question...As a know the greek dances are rarely or never danced in a close circle. Maybe because there is almost everytime a person considered the best dancer in front of the row. He or she should make some special figures during the dance. If the circle is closed, would not be a leader anymore. An other observation is that the greeks don't dance in couple.(there are some isolate places in Greece where it happen to be some dances in couple, but only a few)
nu stiu unde-ai vazut tu sclipici.Poate din cauza calitatii proaste a imaginii combinata cu imaginatia ta bogata au aparut sclipici. Io n-am vazut in Romania manele dansate asa. ca gen prima melodie e intr-adevar o "manea" .In Grecia se numeste tsifteteli.

Maneaua turceasca; Τσιφτετέλι nu are nici o legatura cu maneaua. Orit de mult ar fura manelistii analfabeti melodii grecesti.
