  • This is gorgeous, do you have a way I can download it?

  • @aniytlia Thank you! I'm finally getting a downloadable CD out with with this track on it. I should be in the next two months.

  • wow your feeling on the piano it's great, you put lots of emotions in your playing.thanks for this performance

  • @NahuelMusic Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • very helpful

  • For the people who say it is good or bad. It is boring to an normal ear. Only if you know what he is doing you can apreciate it. Like a sport, but for a ´normal´ ear it is boring. I know what he is doing and i don´t like it either.

  • lol this isnt bebop....sorry if this style of jazz is more mello

  • you have to be kidding me ...BORING...may i suggest maybe this isn't the site for you??.....this is improvisational magic! BEAUTIFUL ...7 NOTE MODE!

    THANK YOU !

  • @whitesnake2859 Thanks so much whitesnake!

  • Black Keys Prelude.

  • solo con la scala cinese è facile

  • Awesome, nothing else...

  • boaaaaar vool die kunst nurs chwarze tasten spielen udn man autatisch was relativ gut klingendes egal wie mans spielt, melodie zwar neu gemacht aber snst eifnach nruscehiße

  • Sheet music, please?

  • @BabyPuncher007 it's literally the same notes, just start on Bb or Eb instead of Gb or Db. Pentatonic scales are just made by removing half step intervals from the scale, so the minor pentatonic has all the same notes, it just starts on a different degree of the scale. It's still a mode after all.

  • 0:34 Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star!

  • Sound like something from minecraft

  • Excellent.

  • great job! beautiful melody!

haha easy way to play pentatonic on piano is using black keys only

  • I learn something from you today...thank you. Pentatonic...sound like oriental tune ;-)

  • Great improvisation!

Can u make a piano tutorial for the danse macabre (Camille Saint-Saëns) (somewhen)?

It would be really great! If you do not want to, so good luck! Your playing is really gorgeous:)

  • I dont know if its just me, but i find it very boring, sorry

  • @cjmitz That's because you don't hear the story :)

  • a bit of a Bruce Hornsby sound!

  • That sounds really really nice

  • the ancient chinese wrote their songs in this scale

  • u really need 2 put out some instructional dvds!

  • @bemaniac2 Thanks! I'll stick to youtube videos, which are easier to do :-)

  • Wow... magic...

I know! I can play beatiful music even in 3 or 2 note mode! :-)

Because it's not notes! It's feeling!

  • Thank you mihmus for your very nice comment.. and the nice comments on other videos as well.

  • SUPER ! :D

But why you don't use the Blues scales, It could be more jazzy, no?

  • very Keith Jarrett solo style... Sweet! Nice video

  • GREAT !!! could you post some practical piano jazz excersises in a kind of piano jazz hannon format. ie walking bass lines, 2-5-1 drills, modulation etc..

  • This one is mesmerizing, the way you play the chords are so beautiful! I just downloaded some of the sheets in your site, still trying to play "my one and only one" But the other sheets(exercises) are rather hard to play. How do you know which chord to use at the exact moment?

  • Only 5 notes,but a beauty melody sense !! Congratulations ...that's the way !!

  • Thank you, jeff2sabbag. I appreciate it.

  • Amazing! It's like a modest Debussy impression, haha.

What's your monitoring chain? i.e., you're using logic and the synthology plugin via your yamaha as a MIDI controller, but how do you like to hear yourself? Monitors? I always feel a little weird when the sound's not coming directly from the keyboard area myself.

  • Thanks DanielDavisMusic. Right now I use PMC speakers and Bryston amp to monitor.

  • hes just playing the black keys. anyone can do that.

  • Most of the chords are pretty intricate (and beautiful) and nothing seems random or "oops" accidental.

  • @pikadru O.K : Try it! :D

  • This was inspirational!

As soon as the video's over I'm gonna go try it!

    Gb major for the win!

  • Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I appreciate it!

  • So beautiful!

  • very Keith Jarrett-esque. Thanks as always
