but mostly they listen to bands like my chemical romance, green day and things and say its emo.

well thats pretty sad for the true emo/screamo. but im happy about that too because then they will listen to their "emo" and leave true bands alone.

Yeah I know, Envy is more akin to aggressive post-rock but it certainly is a product of the hardcore scene. I just hate how perverted the scene has become of late.

yeah as i read in a interview they liked chaotic hardcore bands etc.. so they did in their first records.

they never planned or did emo. maybe screamo a bit.
