  • Can you plug a bass into this?

  • @legniak1

There is another Zoom called the 'Zoom B3'. This is totally the same but for the bass.

I saw it today in a music center but i'm not verry impressed... I think it's a verry good instrument when you're searching for a own sound... It's moan I couldn't test it, but I THINK it's not good enough for live performance on a high level.. then i would go for a analog..

  • 06:20 - love this laughter. :D And love the G3 too. I'm going to buy it as soon as possible. ;)

  • this is the best shit i'd ever bought

  • Really nice tune!

  • You thing zoom g2.1u better than Zoom G3?

    What you think about both?

    What is better?

  • could you disable the horrible amp sims lol and just use this unit as an effects stomp?

  • @Zhorellski 4:40 he covers that...

  • Amazing product, like the workflow a lot

  • Bought this baby weeks ago, best bang for buck as it include some recording software....and if you bored by the effect they offer, you can always use it as audio interface to play with Guitar rig / amplitube effect instead ( compatible with looper which is awesome!! ), PM me if need any help

  • is this true bypass? i admit it, im too lazy to read it for myself and would rather someone tell me the answer.

  • @ynnadstrebor also, can i power this pedal with my dunlop dc brick?

  • Can you loop odd time signatures?

  • Ur dirty

  • can you bypass the tuner,...?

  • Did you make these patches or are they pre-made?

  • This is really the info I needed. Easy to understand and in a real-life setting. You just saved me a lot BS at the music store. I'm SOLD on it. Thanks.....

  • Plz help me! is this good for recording and does it work for garageband? wanna buy one!

  • Is this good for recording, you know does it do like HD recording to USB into the computer?

  • 07:38 yess! i can hear each tile deflecting the sound ;)

  • Screw boss and overpriced crap!! Zoom is the new kid in town

  • CAn U program 2 delays at a time with this pedal?

  • Gf got me this for Christmas, god i love her sometimes. This thing is pretty amazing for 200 bucks.

  • any similar demo for the ZOOM B3 (bass)?

    thanks for your videos!

    best wishes!

  • Hi can I add this stuff to my pedaltrain combining it with my analog pedals? THANKS

  • To me this seems to be same thing as G2 only G3 looks better . . .

  • @imamnalog The big improvement is the amp/cab sims. The amp/cab sims on the G3 are as good (or better IMO) than the new POD HD series.

  • @jbealsmusic G3 is not yet available in Serbia so I can't test it . . .

  • 5:44 - 6:20 nothing changed hahahaha XD XD

  • Please, Please...I'm almost begging...Please, write the TABS for us, please... I loved the riffs, i loved the sample. I already bought mine, just because of that video. I'm just waiting the delivery. But, please, let me know and play the demo that let me completly sold. Thanks in advance.

  • y is the zoom G21nu more expensive than this?

  • @JackHarperTv it has an expression pedal

  • @JackHarperTv no its not...i just bought my ZOOM G3, at NY, on J&R Stoire, at Park Row...Amazing pedalboard...i'm reallly impressed...

  • Hello,

I was just wondering about this system.. I have a few questions..

When you record a track to play along with.and then play it back..does the recorded track come out MONO or Stereo?

cause I also own the Korg Pandora.. and when I record my track it comes back with an MP3 warped sound which I hate..

Also if I record a track can I save it to my computer in a file so I can use it for later?? to save it for a cd recording ?

    Thanks Rock on!!!

  • @jgf145 I don't have this unit yet, but I know it's also a USB audio interface, so you can record to your computer directly through the Zoom G3. :)

  • @jgf145 If your recorder records stereo, then you can plus a stereo Jack and record in stereo. This is great for ping pong delay effects!

Not sure if you can upload a Loop to your computer but I know it has a USB connection and supposedly comes with recording software! In that case you can record your idea right away.

  • Excellent demo. Im SOLD! Love it!

  • can u add a traditional stompbox through G3? i mean link to HT-Dual-G3?

  • @ybsniewo You could put an analog stompox in front of it sure. The G3 will work as an amp. Of course it doesn't make sense to do that because the G3 has many Amp distortion sounds so you don't need pedal distortion.

I would just use the G3 on it's own.

  • If a person bought this in europe but then moves to the US, can the person use this there if they buy the US power supply cable?

  • @paulgaudinjrBCN LOL YES

  • a pedal in the between of the guitar?

  • Nothing negative about it? I'm guessing gearwire sells these? Great tutorial though if I buy one!

  • Porra... já tem no Brasil?

  • this or Line 6 M9?.....plz answer.

  • @Nobasic53 THE M9 may sound better but, this thing is 200 bucks and it does waaay more than the m9. Get the ZOOM!

  • @THEGUYD0WNTHESTREET if the m9 sounds better shouldn't he get the line 6? i would rather have a better sounding range of effects any day. and the m9 has more than you'll ever need anyway

  • @racerx3065 Dpnds on yr values. I'd get an M13 (or M9), but the Zoom is $200 less than the M9, has a better looper, functions as an audio interface, has amp sims, etc, on top of havin' pretty good effects. It's clearly a better value. You don't necessarily get the better sound from the device with the better value, but you also don't necessarily get the better value from the unit with the better sound. Subjective decision is subjective.

  • I got mine and absolutely love it on a Marshall MGDFX50. Modulates Mesa's Mark 4, 5 and the Rectos with Dist or OD in front of amp model. Played for hours...

  • tab it for us ^ ^ ~

  • mr omallys quite a good guitarist actualy, nice demo too

  • Any have this and find that it is TOO LOUD?!? Seriously is there a universal way to turn down the gain.. i am not going to edit each patch.

  • @AcousticBruce I'm placing my bet that if you pushed the "global" button it would have the all encompassing level/volume adjustment you're looking for.

  • Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase, write the tabs. That sample was very cool...pleaaaase, tab it for us. Thanks in advance

  • When I heard that this unit capped its processing power with only an effect and an amp loaded I was no longer sold ... will wait for the next gen ... thanks for the demo!

  • This is awesome!

  • 1. is this better than the G2.1nu? the prices are about the same.

    2. How great is the direct USB? Does the amp sims sound good even directly in? would i have to rely on my own impulses?

My G2 sounds bad when recording but if i mic it through an amp it sounds great.

    3. Just overall Im upgrading from the G2 so should I go for the G2.1Nu or go for the G3?

  • tabs PLEASE!

  • Gigged with the Zoom G3 this past weekend. I only used it for trem, phase, chorus, slapback, acoustic emulator, and a envelop Filter (no dirt or amp simulation effects). I loved the layout of the peddle and the quality of the sounds. Even my die hard "no effects" buddies think this thing makes sense and sounds great.

  • I want to use this with a bass. My question is will the tuner accurately pick up the lower octave bass notes?

  • I wish they made a g3 with a volume/wah pedal all in one instead of seperate. I'm sending my pod hd500 back and buying a g3. Then ill let everyone know which is better.

  • I have a pod hd500 and have owned a zoom g2nu and I like the zoom sound wise at high volumes. You can adjust the pods effects more and do more with the pod. But zooms interface is easier and its true bypass. The pod hd500 muffles your tone and cuts your volume slightly.

  • AWESOME!

  • One thing that I love about the Zoom G-series pedals is being able to connect an external pedal to control the drums (on-off). Lets you shut off the drums with your foot when the song ends. Would like to see 2 Control-in jacks so we could use one for the drums and the other for the controller values (wah).

  • @jccauseway I have the G3 and the M13, sound wise, the M13 (same as M9) is much better but the line6 has no amp simulation, if that's what you need. The G3 has some problems though --- the distortion/overdrive modules and the amp simulation (OD/Distortion mode) are really noisy; while its DSP power runs out with the HD reverb and amp sim combined. That said, the G3 is a real bang for the buck, so much feature for that price. However, if you can afford the M9, it is better.

  • I am looking to put a multi-effects pedal in my pedal chain for live performance. I am focused on the Zoom G3 ($200) versus the Line 6 M9 ($400). How do you think they compare?

  • @jccauseway i have the m9 but I'm very interested with this pedal

  • Can you slow the Tempo of the playback(half speed?)

  • I have a G2.1 and a g2.1 NU, What makes this more?

  • @MAXhell91

Hi max, how about soundwise between g2.1nu and g2.1, i know g2.1nu has more amp and effect models, but i need to know they sounds at same amp, same effects and parameters

  • Awesome demo Owen. Great playing too!

  • I have got to say - this is one of the BEST demo videos I have seen... Right mix of info and great playing demonstrations. I am very curious about this pedal - even if it had a quite decent reverb (seems too) and a useable delay it would be worth it to augment my live setup. DSP is really getting up to speed these days. I always look for simplicity, flexibility, and musicality, and this seems to have all three!

  • can it be used as a sound card?

  • @cmls1987 yes

  • Seems pretty capable. Is it possible to disregard the presets and put together your own patches - a user mode?

  • Can the same effect like T Scream be used two times at once ??

  • 12:30 Moog sound (?) and 12:55 Organ Sound

  • shredding Bigfoot Sweet !

  • @gearwire Hey can you tell me what you had the zooms output going to in this video? also how did you go about recording the audio, mic'd?

  • @MusicToMyEars36 Is has an XLR mic output so you can record it direct. No Mic needed.

  • @Metallimeister all good mate i own one now, cheers

  • Comment removed

  • It will be mine. Oh yes! It will be mine.

  • @cjsirrah Hahaha,mine to. Perfect box.

  • Thanks for the review... I will be picking this up now that I have seen it in action.

  • Good video

  • Ive been searching for a while for a video like this, thanks!

  • let say i have another multi effect amp modeler but i dont like its effect, so can i use 3 simultaneous effect without select amp on the zoom?

  • @mn4zr1l yes you can, you select 3 effects maximum but when using the hd reverb it uses too much dsp which only allows you to use 2 effects simultaneously, go to the zoom website, it has much more info on it

  • @MusicToMyEars36 thanks, really appreciate

  • @mn4zr1l you're more than welcome.. by the way the website boasts about how it reacts with guitars volume and picking and let me just say it really DOES react with the guitar quite nicely!

  • This is the real video of the G3 that I've seen online! This has definitely helped me with my multi-effects pedal choice. Thnx for the great video. I will be picking one up soon!
