there is to much bounce in the tire, get a smaler tire and it wont bounce then you have to work to get it over head or slege a pile of dirt no bounce therefore double the work
I also just realized you have a 10kg or 22lb hammer. Thats HUGE for a normal person. I swing a 12 & 16 lb hammer, which lets me put a lot more energy into it.

Arent you supposed to use your shoulders when you swing the sledge hammer and not just your arm and elbow. The guys that work with sledgehammer i.e. coal miners come over the head because it gives them better leverage to get more power.
start easy wiht a light hammer (4kg). at first, two times the week for one month. then four times the week. beginning with 20 impacts and then increase.
I just started sledge training, I got sick of lifting weights..... If I showed you a video of my last sledge workout you'd get to see me puke..... Be Safe and God Bless ya
