How can you tell when Mario's speed is at, uh, 37? =(
Even whenever I do the full speed jumping glitch, I've only memorized to jump for one frame, and hold left or right for ten frames. I don't know when to let go if the level layout interferes with that.
About getting full speed at 0:13...
Yes, it's possible. Why haven't I tried that before? o_o
