corpsman is not a sar.

my husband just graduated SAR 2weeks ago.

now he needs to go "AW' school for more training but this time its more about learning about avaition.

funny you say that...because i have corpsman friends ARE SAR.

All Marine air stations have SAR units, they are usually part of the SOMS or MALS units.

actually I thought it was in cherry point, there is only like 5 marine rescue swimmers

depends on the year. sometimes we were down to 2. ive only seen 4 in one room ever.

yeah something like that, we had a marine sergent go through my SAR class, he didnt make it though, something about a car accident.

Could someone tell me if my late second cousin Capt. Bradley E. Walters was in this short clip? I believe I saw him flyin and even possible teaching the "class" in this video.

Yes the Marine Corps has a SAR squadron based out of MCAS Yuma, Az.
