This song takes me back to my earliest tiny years laying in bed while my mom listened to The Bee Gees. I remember falling in love with this beautiful voice, like it was sent from God Himself. I knew nothing about music at that tiny age, but I obviously knew to recognize perfection: The Bee Gees are an amazing group with perfect harmony, and they cannot be the Bee Gees with one missing, but for me Robin stood center stage. Their music will continue for me, as sent from God.

I just heard from somewhere that Mike Patton does a cover of this song and went to see some variety of this song.

I don't think that anyone can do this song better than Bee Gees and NO ONE DOES. That is why I am back here to listen to this song once more and to forget I ever did go there.

@sarcee he is blocking out the background noises so that he is able to sing on pitch...theres an amazing amount of outside noise/ clutter when one tries to sing on stage...if you notice, he has done this many times in other performances...:)

Great song...the line "'Til I finally died, which started the whole world living" has always made me think of Adolph Hitler...now it brings to mind Osama Bin Laden. Perhaps the real message is that there will always be monsters among us, that they are, in the end, sad and confused, and that we rise above them by finding the compassion in our hearts.

It is an earphone, so that he can hear the sound onstage. This is 1989, today performers have a little earpiece that you don't notice. Without this he can not hear the music properly and might sing out of tune.

As you can tell by the ovation that this song creates, its a good reason that it is one of my all time favorite songs of all time.
