Yippee!!! I had no idea the British Empire was so close to expanding! I'm sure this is a relief as far as not being forced to leave the country every so often. It's a shame the Brit Kit didn't consist of items in a Brit Box instead of a bag. Brian could have made use of that:) Still I'm sure the bag will be a keepsake:)

@GreatGig1 One verse - must be government cut-backs due to the recession I suppose. Anyway the sandwiches and pies made up for the disappointment. Even the wine was pretty good and a damn sight better than the glass in the pub afterwards - at least we know our council tax is going towards a good merlot which is some comfort - would hate it if they spent it all on road improvements, sanitation etc xx

If you're naturalising then you'll also get the joy of taking the Life In the UK test- which I got to bypass because I'm a halfie. whew!
