  • Your shriimp just farts at 2:12.

  • @lilhailey4ev

the adults or the fry? because the fry will probably be eaten almost instantly and the adults can live for much longer than that. ive had the same ghost shrimp for almost a year now.

  • the fry

  • @lilhailey4ev Ghost shrimp live for up to 2 years. Google it.

  • i was talking about the fry!

  • @lilhailey4ev not true, ive had mine for about 3 months now

  • i was talking about the fry shrimp!

  • mabye you just cant look after them retard.

  • I can because i was talking about the fry shrimp....and atleast i can spell "maybe"

  • Im sorry i ment the fry shrimp. And u guys dont need to mean about it because i used to have fry and they looked just like that so hush!

  • @lilhailey4ev No they don't. They live for about a year avarage. If your ghost shrimp died in two weeks, then there must've been a problem.

  • @XSavanaBX

First of all,I posted that comment a YEAR ago. Plus,I found out I had a different type of shrimp ! So,I didn't have a problem with my shrimp. It was the type.

  • i was trying to hard to video tape my shrimp and my camara wont get into focus this good its kinda blurred on mine : /

  • will the parents eat their babies like other fish?

  • yes they will unfortunatly

  • @Jakzv

and they call us baby killers hahah fish and all eat there own young.. sad poor babies

  • no. its actually the babies that eat the mom. they eat the stomach after the hatch to get out.

  • hx for the vid i didnt know if they hached as born or as eggs Breeding them is a great way to get free food lol. my green puffers and violet gobbies loves them. So I got a stupid betta fish tank to keep and breed them.

  • That's so awesome! I just bought a bunch of ghost shrimp and two of them have eggs! I have newly hatched brine shrimp and they love them. When they babies hatch, I hope they can eat the same.

  • I got 4 of them today. Just wanted to know, when a shrimp has babies, can zebra danios eat them?

  • @hiddenThecakeisalie, probably, my zebra danios eat everything they can fit in their mouth :O(

  • i have a tank ok how many times should i change the water and how should i keep the ghost shrimp alive pls thanks i had 3 females but they died after i put them into the tank and the small shrimps lived i have a filter and thats all should i put in sand and weeds from the sea and when i get more shrimps what do i need to do for them to hatch out the eggs pls help me thanks

  • Wait, do you have a frshwater or saltwater tank? And do you know what a period is? I'll give you a hint, its used in a sentence everytime you finish what your saying.

Also, your 3 females probably died because you didn't acclimate them. And you need more then just a filter, ESPECIALLY if its a saltwater tank

  • lol...........i dont see no babys

  • thats because you have no eyes

  • haha you can see them wobbling against her belly...

  • Try keeping them away from the filter and other fish in a breeding tank and feed them micro worms, if you don't have any then crush flake will have to do.

  • Are there babies dropping from the mom in this video? I don't think I saw any. How did you know they where hatching?

  • 1 of my shrimp has eggs anybody any tips

  • Ghost shrimp ARE harmless you dumbass. The ghost shrimp was on your guppy because it was feeding off the algea on your fish. Thats what they do. Also, adult guppies and other fish DO eat their babies.

  • dude the eggs are hatching what do i do please help quick how do i take care of them will the other fish eat them

  • The hardest part about breeding ghost shrimp is crushing food tiny enough for the frys to eat.

  • the shrimp looks angry when you took the video. lol

  • My ghost shrimp gets pregnant alot but a never see any baby ghost shrimps... Is something wrong?

  • same as m8 most probs ur fish keeps eating them b4 u can see anything thats what i assume that with me so most probs ur doing nothing wong

  • it is also difficult to feed the fry when they hatch because they need very small food

  • I bought some from the pet store today. They are way too fast for my crayfish and are very interesting. One of them even has eggs! I wanted 5 for a dollar, which I though I had, until I counted 6! The person at the pet store must of got 6 without realizing it.

  • I have two ghost shrimps in my tropical aquarium which is about 22gallon(99litres)tank, there are seven neon tetras and three fishes which names i don't remember, like guppy's but not.. they are beautiful anyway, :) and they are living well in my aqua :) nice tank and shrimp:)

  • Thanks, ill be getting more, everything in my tank died, the power went out, and my filter stopped running, and i didn't notice it because its so silent.

  • awh so sad whn the power fails which it does regulary in my parts i will probably not know about it because ill be sleep:)

  • What kind of camera/lens are you using to get that shot?

  • You would normally use what is called a macro lens for close up shots, but the camera for my archos is a lipstick shaped tube with an adjustable lens at the end, i have to manually focus it whenever i need to, allowing me to get up close. a good stillshot camera that can take pictures like this would be the Fuju film finepix E550 or E500

  • i wanna make shrimp live in fish tank, but it die every time i put it in,i wanna know the type of water i but,cuz it need salt water like the sea,plz answer me :D Wonderfull video

  • Ive never had a saltwater tank, that takes a lot more effort than i have time to spare. this is regular tap water, but you need to treat it first, most places will give you a sample packet of the oily liquid. just folow the directions on the back and your fish would liiiiveee! mine died untill i treated the water :(

  • I think they died cause they werent used to the change from tap to treated

  • lol these kind dont need saltwater they prefer freshwater

  • nice what are you going to feed them to?

  • I had bought them with the intention of both looking cool, and having them clean up the bottom of my tank. When I was at the cashier line waiting for my turn to pay, I looked in the bags to see them with these little balls, I didn't think they were eggs at first

  • Lol all my shrimp were pregnant when i got them

  • lol when my bro saw em his like ergh lol
