  • Roman Catholicism. My religion.

  • Satan and John Calvin, Martin Luther, Henry VIII, and the rest of the Protestant Revolt leaders sound all the same to me. They sought more power, and over time became more and more selfish and self-centred. There you have it.

  • Rituale Romanum

The real manual for Exorcism, and all written in Latin.

After Vatican II Priests do not know how to do this.

Priests trained and ordained in Rites prior to 1968

have the proper faculties to perform exorcism, with

the permission of their Bishop, and the local Bishop.

  • Being possessed is the most terrifying feeling in the world. One is trapped, and one's body is not one's own. One feels the darkness closing in on one's heart but one's mind and soul cry for God. One is capable of great evil that is not of one's free will. One can fight, and one can win, but at a price. It is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

  • i am Muslim, but this, i know there is an devil and god, we call our god allah, and Jezus, is our profit

  • @921semih Yes and thats why your religion is something demonic...with all respect

  • @921semih your a muslim? how can you believe that when you die your going to wake up beside one thousand virgins?

  • @mralanv I'm a muslim and I dont believe when I die I will wake up besides thousand virgins it's just a ridiculous story invented by people who can not read the koran properly. There is a verse that says that those who get to go too heaven will get 72 "hoor al ayn" which they interpret as "virgins" but they are actualy "grapes". Why grapes becaus back in those days "grapes" were a fruit that only kings ate. I hope I could give you some clarity on this issue.

  • OOOKKKK tthis is freaking me outttt

  • Why did that dude have glasses on if he clsoed his eyes o.O

  • @NIKthereallyAWESOME I think he does it cause he prays a lot and is in constant meditation aka communion with God so when he does that he's receiving words probably from God himself.. some people called it being led in the spirit, you won't understand unless you live a life of holiness or at least try to with all your might.

  • @NIKthereallyAWESOME he might be trying to order his words, idk though english might be his second language. I know I have to think really hard and pause a few times to speak in german. :D

  • wow i'm confused i've seen people exorcised by imams in muslim countries does that mean islam is the truth? wtf is this bullshit.

  • frankly if exorcism was real, it would be the "nail in the coffin" to proving god exists. why do they want to keep it secret?

  • @whatevaUsay2 Let those with ears hear, let those with eyes see...otherwise, get thee behind me..

  • u wanna have sex with the host girl

  • although i am not catholic or christian i hate the fact that today one of the major religon battles still going on today r all about the monotheistic religions for me i am polytheistic and i believe in all gods i believe in the supernatural i believe in a heaven and hell and i believe in reincarnation

  • i am catholic and that church is pretty

  • HER EYES ARE SO FAR APART LOL

  • The story of Satan is WRONG, God did not grant Lucifer his own kindgom to reign over...

  • @Junije1

Let us recall the Temptation of the Christ, especially the event of the tallest tower. Here we can see that Satan is ruler of the Kingdoms of the World. This point is undeniable that the material world is a gift to Lucifer. But let us remember that Lucifer is no longer the name of the fallen angel. Lucifer (Latin for the Day-Star) was his name before the Fall from Heaven. His name is now the Divider, the Devil, etc.

As is said in the Psalms: "Before the Day Star I begot you..."

  • @ammazzamoro its all bullshit. get over it and evolve already

  • @vaiboy55 What do we do in the textbook case, gone wrong, of a man named Nathan Gale? He was diagnosed a paranoid-schitzophrenic after a spiraling downward from having no dad around, minimum wage work, alcohol, drug-abuse, petty-crime, homelessness, & minor violence. By age 25, convinced that "they... those people on the radio" were reading his mind; a person utterly alone waging a war in his own head trying to recapture sanity. I remember his shooting rampage killing Diamond Darrell.

  • @ammazzamoro im not sure what you are trying to convey here. are you professing gale to be possessed or are you confirming his well documented mental illness? just to clear up any uncertainty from my end, gale was for whatever circumstantial reasons, fucking mental. he killed one of the coolest guitarists to ever live. i have not been diagnosed as paranoid schitzo but i have suffered all other things that gale suffered and worse, im not about to shoot anyone.

  • Why do that man use glasses if he don't open his eyes??? [02:26]

  • @mitsay lol I was thinking the exact same thing.LOL!

  • @mitsay Lmfao i now right wtf

  • sheep!

  • It's a very smart and subtle propaganda. If you believe in Jesus, you certainly don't have to believe in everything that is written in the Bible and that is relative to the church. But the image of demonic posession we have today has to have originated somewhere, so...

  • after exorcism dose a person die ?

  • what people don't realize is that the council of nicea in the 3rd century are the ones responsible for the way the catholic church is today, and completely responsible for all that the vatican stands for in all aspects of religion and science, which is ironic, considering the TRUE FACT that christ's true church will never be known and, is in fact suppressed by the vatican itself..Constantine the 1st was the main figure in this...in short, the council was the 3rd century's "religious"free masons!

  • there is no god, period. offer proof!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kerryfox there is a God, period. offer proof!!!

  • @kerryfoxTthere is no proof of gravity, yet you believe. There is no proof of black holes, but you believe. There is no proof of pain, yet when a person screams when you stand on their foot you move. There is no proof of air, and yet you breath. The is no proof of life, and yet you believe you are alive. There is no explanation that only when a man and a woman come together, will sperm and egg become a life, and yet, without a man and a woman, new human life can not exist.

  • @rosey312 it is arguable that nothing is truly provable beyond doubt except for one's own existence

  • @rosey312 hey moron, gravity = proven. air = proven. pain = proven. as for there being proof of life....... when you finally get yourself a life then you will have proof of that also. fuck you are retarded.

  • @vaiboy55 I have intelligent conversations with atheist, but your intelligence is the prerequisite to that two was conversation. When you name call it tells me that you are angry, nasty and generally fowl in you life, which is small and lonely. Gravity is a theory, not a fact, but there is plenty of evidence that suggest it is real. Pain is subjective. If you tell me you hurt, I can't say if you are lying or not. If you hate Christians so much stop trolling their pages. We don't troll yours.

  • @rosey312 you can apply this new label of "troll" to me if you like it does not carry any weight with me. as for my life, well we all have our troubles and nobody is perfect. overall my life is good,i live in paradise, i am not rich but i do what i like and believe it or not i help alot of other people. i do not hate anyone but i despise the lie that is religion. it is a parasite on mankind,we as a species need to collectively evolve away from it, eventually we all will i think.

  • @vaiboy55 dude you say you hate religion but here you are watching a religious video, so eager to prove how much more "evolve" you are than believers, how old are you? let people believe what they want, nobody's asking you to accept this as fact

  • @amrugby i agree with u for those that do not believe in the supernatural i think they shud just press the dislike button(thumps down) and dont even bother to comment becuz we as the believers hate people that makes fun of us for wat we believe in

  • @HanDynasty26349 us nonbelievers would not mock you if what you believed in was not so utterly ridiculous.

I dont hate anyone but I detest religion because quite simply its bullshit and it is responsible for an enormous degree of evil and suffering from historical ages to present day.

  • @vaiboy55 it is ridiculous becuz u have no faith

  • @amrugby firstly I don't need to prove to anyone my level of evolution or lack thereof. I consider religion a direct threat to the progression of our species. You say nobody is asking me to accept their beliefs as fact, WRONG,.... um lets see "repent or burn in hell" that's a good one now isn't it? Religion needs to be wiped from the planet and this is the reason I make comments and look at such postings. Also what has my age got to do with it? How old do you think I am?

  • @vaiboy55 Dude not everyone is gonna think they way you do, accept the fact that people choose to believe other philosophies/religions. You have the right to have your opinion, if you think religion needs to be wiped from the planet that's fine, it's your opinion; others believe the opposite. Live and let live

P.S Your age has nothing to do in this, so for that I apologize

  • @vaiboy55 How long must we the righteous, put up with the unrepentant?

  • People also want to slander the catholic church...every religion has had it's disgraces, at least they dont make false predictions regarding the end times (J-Witnesses) The TRUE problem lies with the radicals...,of any religion. Catholicism has structure and discipline. Thats what people, especially young ones, do not have.

  • @VVAUGHN06 you are so right

  • @VVAUGHN06 I like your statement.

  • I am a life long protestant, and do embrace parts of catholicism. People need to know catholics dont worship saints, they pray to them. Catholicsm provides more avenues for help....saints...angels..etc. How could you not want to pray to Mary, Mother of God? She is our advocate.

  • @VVAUGHN06 beautifully said. just a suggestion....you might want to check out the Journey Home program on EWTN, they have protestants who have made the journey to the Catholic Church from all different denominations, and they go over all the teachings of the Church that they struggled with. Great comment man.

  • Strange how the Lutherans - or whatever other protestant spin off they may belong to, are always so full of hate and ignorance.

Sure, hate the Catholics, what a wonderful way to live sola scriptura!

As an ex-Lutheran, Mr. Luther is a local boy where I come from, I can tell you that he's turning in his grave by the way his intentions are being abused and misinterpreted.

Get a grip! There is nothing diabolic about the Catholic Church. It's the origin of your own society, only not as bloodless.

  • Why does he talk with his eyes close?

  • I was brought up Catholic, but the way the Catholic religion strays from the Bible and makes their own idea's up, is disturbing and drives me away from Catholic ideals. "according to tradition" the one Rev. says, well tradition and legend isn't the Bible, the Bible writings are divine inspired by the Holy Spirit. I put faith in what the Bible says not in man made ideals taking out of the Bible what they want and denying the rest as just a story that doesn't fit their ideals.

  • @MegaDude1969 actually the Catholic Church compiled the bible with 73 books in the 4th century. All the Orthodox doctrines that protestants believe in were formulated by the Catholic Church from sacred scripture and sacred tradition. The teachings of the Catholic Church are 100% in agreement with scripture, if you think there is something that isnt it is probably a misunderstanding of the Catholic teaching or due to reading scripture out of context.

  • @MegaDude1969 When it comes to tradition the bible doesnt condemn all traditions, the good traditions are spoken highly of in the bible: 2 Thess 2:15 "Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours."

  • @MegaDude1969 Also if you put faith in the bible then you would have to put faith in the Church that compiled it, the Catholic Church. If the Catholic Church is corrupted then common logic dictates that the bible, its product, is corrupt as well and you cant put your trust in it.

  • @MegaDude1969 well said mega I so agree with you,Only GOD's word has authority ,power and truth and no other can stand before the MOST High.

  • does any catholic believes in the SUPERSTITIOUS BELIEF? so if GOD they talk about why did anyone of the catholic churches believe in evils when GOD doesn't leave us!!!! have faith in him and he will do the rest...

  • I'll tell you what i would like to possess that host with my semon, play with her tits, and lick her pussy all day

  • @carthage397 the greek word rendered cross actually when translated into english mean stake. 1 peice of wood.backing up wat serlbb90

  • @Insurrectionx13 The Greek work Stauros in classic greek means stake or pole, classic greek was used from 1000 - 330 BC. During the time of Christ Koine Greek was used. In Koine Greek the word Stauros can mean 1. a cross, 2. a plus sign like fixture and 3. a single vertical beam. In Koine Greek the word that is used for just a vertical stake is Skolops, this word isnt used when referring to the device Jesus hung on in the NT.

  • @Insurrectionx13 also in John 20:25 scripture says that Jesus had the prints of the nails in his hands. If Jesus was killed on a vertical stake 1 nail would have been driven through both hands. since the plural nails is used this is further specifying that in this case Stauros is referring to a cross beam.

  • @vinavon i use to be a catholic and they are not based on the bible. they worship idols and not jahova god. there is only one person that can help u and thats god. not saints or the pope. I thought at a cce class and i got fired because i told them i was a javoha witness and they got mad but yet kept my JW books and used them according to my sister and cousin who i had for class. By the way the cross is false jesus died on a stake not a cross. its in the catholic bible as well

  • @serlbb90 let me ask you, when you were a "catholic" how often did you go to church? Once or Twice a year? By what you say regarding idols and the Church not being based on the bible shows that you have no idea what the Church teaches.

Its interesting hot JW's change their "theology" every decade or so. Up until the 1930's the Watchtower taught that Jesus did die on a Cross and that you should celebrate Christmas and give blood transfusions

  • @serlbb90 Have you ever read the early JW teachings? If the Watchtower is the mouth piece of jehovah (which isnt the name of God) god then why are its teachings today completely different then the first 50 years of the organizations existance.

Up until the 1950's JWs taught that God lived on a start called alceon in the pelidedes start cluster. Your founder , Charles Taze Russell taught that the pyramids in egypt were created by God to predict the end of the world

  • @serlbb90 also wasnt the world suppose to end in 1975? From history the watchtower has predicted the world about 15 times, and they were all wrong. The book of Deuteronomy says you will know a false prophet but his false predictions.

The JW's were started by a man that said he was one of the 7 angels of the book of revelation and has a 7 foot pyramid on his grave.

  • @serlbb90 Historically the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ and has taught the same thing for 2,000 year unlike your 120 year old Cult.

People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

  • you know this is all bull shit ? how can you believe this is real

  • @skeleton666999 dont you find it quite odd that people were speaking foreign languages that they had no prior knowledge of?

  • This is a good documentary, a must see for all interested in knowing more about Exorcism and demonic possession. I think the information given here is very accurate.

  • Catholism:Direct lineage to Christ; Medjugorie Miracles occuring by the thousands;Lourdes France, Stigmata, Exorcisms that must be performed by Catholic priests.Yeah we may have our problems, but no one can deny the fact that almost all recognized miracles happen in The Church. We are proud to be Catholics. Remember, we are all sinners and no one is perfect. Yes, we ahve had our problems, but so has everyone else. The truth is, if you believe in Jesus in your heart, you will be saved.

  • @forwardrebel I agree but your last statement is untrue "if you believe in Jesus in your heart, you will be saved" - that is total protestant propaganda - most will not be saved . Jesus said most are on the road to destruction.... few on the road to life....why do you call me Lord and not do what I say? Faith without works is dead. Protestantism with 35,000++ denominations has made a mockery out of Christianity. They are the ones in John 6:66.

  • @divine9860 awesome reply man.

  • Exorcism is voodoo practice, in other words plain nonsense.

  • please elaborate how you came to the conclusion that exorcism is voodoo.

  • In 5 words! "What a load of BOLLOCKS"

  • @helmutoil please explain, why is this "bollocks". You cant disprove this and you havent given a justification for your point of views so i ask you to elaborate more on your statement.

  • @carthage397 the burden of proof is on the people who claim the existence of invisible supernatural forces, entities, demons etc. it is bollocks because its utterly ridiculous and cannot be proven or at least has yet to be. the naysayers do not have to prove it is bollocks because there is no proof that it is true.

  • satan (animal like) and god (human like) are inventions of men to deny his carnal nature and is own evil wich is recognizable by his own ego, than he has to make up a god and a devil to externalize his evil nature.

  • I agree with this. Our inner problems manifest in various ways depending on personal beackground and culture. christians having psychologic problems or normal everyday stress manifest these sometimes using models already present, demons. - my opinion only!

  • @critics: I am a catholic and I am very thankful thet catholicism is not only based on the bible; it also refers to the official teachings of the church and tradition. There are so many different interpretations of the Bible and it is such a treasure to be able to be part of a century and millenia old tradition of interpretation of the Bible. You only have to read about history to see what type of completely erroneous interpretations of the bible were made. Thus it is good to have some guidance.

  • @vinavon Anything that is based outside word if GOD is of the devil .For we can't serve two masters like JESUS said.GOD's way is only the right way ,any other way is deception .

  • @vinavon fuck you and the catholic church. You are literally insane. You make the word of the Bible into your own words. You create your own reality with fake robes, fake power, and disturbing rituals. The Bible tells all to stay away from this evil behavior..... but somehow you rationalize it. You are insane. You will burn in the hell that doesn't exist that you ward off with your ridiculous clothes. Fuck the pope and fuck you.

  • @cothor The Catholics are not insane. Steeped in Ritual perhaps..as the Orthodox Catholics. No more or less than any other Congregations to serve the Flock.

You, though, are intolerant.. Human beings rationalize, of course. This is why we have free will, to think for ourselves. Two times you use insane? Okay Dr. Misfit. Hell does exist, although separation from God is Hell...on earth and beyond. Clothes? How old are you..10?

  • @vinavon That's a great suggestion. How far back in history have you looked? I suggest you watch Zeitgeist here on YouTube.

  • @ptsocr Why watch a video when you can do your own research?

  • @vinavon and the catholic church will usher in the AntiChrist..For catholicism is a Religion

  • @AzoutLawz2010 That is a Jehovah's Witness belief..

  • @vinavon ut that guidance you speak of is just as subjective. The Bible is Gods word.

  • scary!!!

  • I know this priest...he is Spanish. He look evil...lol He is a exorcim.!!!

  • He is Spanish and Spanish catholics are special... Does he also close his eyes in normal life as often as he does during the interview??

  • @vinavon He is trying to form his words so as not to mislead, choosing words carefully. As some of these comments obviously do not. Maybe they could take lessons.

  • Nowhere in the Bible per se does it say the devil is a fallen angel. Pure interpolation.

More likely he and his legions were created as Man`s "testers", and if they didn`t suit God`s purposes, they`d have been snuffed out like a candle at the start.

  • There are some things concluded in Catholicism that are based on interpretation(Abortion, for example). We rely on the teaching authority of the Church to draw these interpretations in the same way that a child defers to an adult to explain what he/she sees in the news, or in a complex story book. The Church has the lineage of history, intimate understanding of the ancient languages, and was givn teaching authority by Christ. And the exercise of this authority is found throughout scripture

  • @excalibersdomain

I don`t want to get into a long ding-dong with you, and my wife is a devout Catholic anyway, but I place the Bible above that tradition. Abortion finds dispproval from the Bible anyway, not merely from Catholic tradition.

Blessings, and thanks for the reply!

  • @criticsare2apenny

2 Thesalonians 2:15 teaches us to follow tradition. It's mentioned again in 3:6. There are numerous passages where faithful are instructed to follow tradition, and not just the written letter alone. My position is supported all over the new testament, and historically by the early Church fathers. Nowhere at all does scripture support what you're saying. So if you truly hold scripture above all other things then recognize that it's teaching that you are in serious error.

  • by the way, my last response was mainly in reference to your belief that scripture alone is the sole teaching authority. I realize it's a disconnection from the original point you raised about the devil, etc.

    God be with you.

  • @criticsare2apenny

That bible you are reading was formed through Tradition. Bishops (heads of Church) gathered together and prayed about which scripture books were sacred and divinely inspired.

If you take away Tradition, you no longer have a bible. Best of luck with that.

  • I have to quote Steve Gregg on this mattter:

"Let those who wish to be "Protestants" bicker as long as they wish with those who wish to be "Roman Catholics." It seems almost entirely a waste of time, to me—and a distraction too! I will follow Jesus. You will follow whomever you choose. "

  • the problem with your logic is that history shows that Jesus founded the Catholic Church, The Church compiled the Bible in the 4th century, it formulated from scripture and tradition all the ORTHODOX beliefs you hold. your understanding of Jesus and what he preached is due to the Catholic Church. Without the Church you wouldnt know who Jesus is, hence you wouldnt be able to follow him. Every christian that reads the bible gives authority to the Church that compiled it, the Catholic Church.

  • To WaywardSonCRN: This video is obviously produced by a Catholic organization. Why would you even bother to watch it if you're so certain that science can explain everything and religion is wrong?

  • interesting....Funny how things work ....Two realms we cant even touch or see ....... and maybe we are in the middle like little pupit's

  • doubt it, Satan does not have that kind of power. There are three things he is afraid of. The most holy name of Jesus, the most holy name of Mary, and the Brown scapular.

  • Evil spirits want to possess a human body to desecrate it before God. When God breathed into man, a spirit, that spirit dwelt within man. No other entity is to dwell there. A demon therefore oversteps his boundaries when invited and violates the body made unique for men.

  • things are only true to what you think is true, you dont need proof for everything that u b lieve in because u KNOW its true. as long as your not the only person who b lieves in it then thats good enough

  • Me and a friend of mine believe we are millionaires and rule the world. There's more than one of us so.. Start worshipping and paying homage to us I suppose.

  • lol,,then keep dreaming,,that will happen,,in ur dreams probably,,lol

  • Well, according to

    TakahisaNamae, that's all it takes.

  • "very few people want to talk about" , if all the crap i've heard about exoricsm is true, then prove it fucking scientifically and you got your proof of god, or at least better evidence than everything till this day was.

    i somehow doubt it.

  • The problem is whenever science proves anything--however amazing--morons like you use it as proof that God DOESN'T exist. Conception/Birth is miraculous. That we can now scientifically explain it doesn't make it less divine. Same with the space. It's proof of God's existence. People like you regard it as proof that God DOESN'T exist.

We don't have to prove God exists. 97% of the global population believe in the judeo-christian God. And we have reasons. The counter argument is YOURS to make.

  • you gotta be kidding me. i said you can prove god with science if exorcism is true, not that i can disprove it with science. "morons like me" - i'm a mensa member.

Every freaking shit you said isn't a proof, too bad you don't know what proof is. If i don't know something, it must be god, yeah, that proves it. 97% - not true, and if it was 99.9% it proves nothing, that's a big big logical fallacy there.

I got a ton of counter arguments, at least for the explanations in which you believe in.

  • continuing...

The same way i can introduce the world to a fairy that made the world, made all of it like it is, loves only me, that's why i got a high iq and hard will to get knowledge and reason over faith. There you go, it's a proof, now disprove it, the counter argument is yours to make.

btw, your post has so much logical fallacies and idiotisms in it that you're lucky anyone gave you any answers.

Like i need to tell a baby that says rock isn't a rock how rock really is a rock.

  • 99% of the world doesn't believe in fairies. Because fairies don't exist and so they never provide cause for belief in them. The reason why 97% of the world believes in in God is because they have been given cause and evidence through their practice of the faith that God really is real. The argument to be won is the argument that God DOESN'T exist. The argument that he does exist has already been won, because Theism is the prevalent ethos, globally. That it doesn't satisfy you is your problem

  • You stupid fuck, i need to point it that way.

You clearly don't know how to practice logic, even the basics of it.

no, 97% of the world isn't theist, and if your argument should even stand, tell me why most of the people believe in astrology.

the quanitity of population means nothing.

there were times when we didn't know about gravity, 90+% of the world believed the earth is like a chessboard, and when you introduce gravity and astronomy to the equation - you get that most of the world is stupid

  • even the scientists approve these things.

  • which scientists? what things? no rational and real scientist gives positive statements about something that he has no proof of.

on the other hand it is sooo easy to prove it it should be a piece of cake, and yet i don't ever find any evidence, just assertions and bullshit

  • Do you have your doctorate in any form of science? Theology? Biology? Divinity? Psychology? If so speak freely. If not. Keep silent out of your ignorance.

  • theology is not an empiric science! What the hell is divinity? what does doctorate have to do with plain evidence and understanding scientific method? You're arguing either from authority or Ad Hominem both of which are logical fallacies.

I got enough knowledge to question anything this understandable and an iq of 144, near to get a magister of science degree in psychology and philosophy, if you want my credibility table, still that has nothing to do with being able to question.

  • science can not prove and answer for everything. I is not even 100% certain, there is no such thing as a LAW in science, only extreme probabilities.

  • haven't i told you already what the word science means? i do not believe in metaphyisical nor do i have any rational reason to do so, apart from my own wishfull stupidity and brain with lack of knowledge which really really wants to know everything, but can't so it chooses to put a supernatural explanation whenever it does not know the truth, that's just plain stupid.

all of what you wrote does not matter, i was just asking for a simple experiment on exoricsm.

  • Here is the thing, as I said, even science is not 100% certain, the laws are so probable in all circumstances that we say they are true at all times. You are also guilty of the appeal to ignorance logical fallacy that says that if we can not prove something it mustn't be true.

  • i did not say that what we can not prove it musn't be true, i was just pointing out that ignoring our senses and evidence and believing in anything supernatural is irrational. Yes, we can be brains in vacuum or whatever we think we may be, but the rational way is not the other one based on faith.

  • Our senses can easily deceive us. I will give you an example. My philosophy teacher told the class to close their eyes while he wrote something on the board. One by one he tapped on our desk and said "read the board." We all read it as "Paris in the spring." He had written "Paris in the the spring."

  • give that to a kid that has just learned to read and it will not make the same mistake, your example is just plain stupid and has nothing to do with general usage of our senses.

I won't argue further if you don't see the fallacy in your analogy or whatever this was.

  • i see that u dont...rofl... u cant even spell sentences

  • no, we deliberately use non christian scientists to make the claims credible

  • You really give too much credit to mankind. Everything real is not always touchable, many times it is felt. This is where men are powerless and science cannot venture.

  • science can venture for everything, because science means knowledge, if today's scientists don't have a rational explanation or proof of how something works it does not in any way mean that it won't be known in near or later future. scientists through years are just closing the gaps in mankinds knowledge, proving superstitious fools wrong.

with exorcism it's a different picture, it is provable and can be tested, but nobody wants to, i wonder why...

  • no, science can only skepticize with about 98% probability what is the case. Science deals only with the material realm, not the metaphysical one.

  • ---------------------READ THIS--------------------

i will tell you how satan apeared...its very simple, cristians took the image of "my" god, pan, also known as the horned god.

Pan es the god of nature, also represents the sun,and he has...horns...OH BUT WAIT! THERE IS MORE! Satan has horns to...hmmm coincidence?pan has deer horns and satan has bull horns cuz its more agressive...cristians must have the element of fear to conquer people to be cristians, realy good people arent they?-.-"

  • Christianity started out from Judaism. Pan is first mentioned in Pindar's Pythian Ode 78. Pindar was born in 522BC. In the Old Testament of the Bible the devil is first mentioned in the book of Job. The Book of Job was written between the 7th - 6th century BC, 100-200 years before Pindar was born. Also in Christian art the Devil isnt just portrayed as a horned goat, he is portrayed as a snake, a serpent like demon, an fallen angel.

  • Christian artists throughout different artistic periods portrayed the devil as resembling horrible creatures. Just because one of these renditions is similar to how pan was drawn doesn't mean the understanding of the devil in Judeo-Christian tradition is based on the greek god pan. In the book of Genesis the devil is depicted as a snake. The devil is a fallen angel who takes on many forms

  • Also true Christianity is about self-sacrifice, love and service of God and man, just because people in Christians (as members of other faiths) fall short of the principals their faith teaches, this doesn't invalidate the message that the faith brings forth. Also how you said Christianity wants to control people....an organization controls people by lack information as seen in the Muslim world. look at this in comparison to the history of education in the Catholic Church...

  • the Church is the largest provider of social services in the world, edcuates more children then any secular institution, founded the university system, most of the great cities of Europe were founded on hubs of monastic education, The father of genetics Gregor Mendel was an Augustinian Priest, the guy who came up with the big bang theory was a Belgian Priest, Georges Lemaitre. the list goes on and on.

  • if the Catholic Church (which is the main organization in Christianity) wanted to control people then its pretty stupid for them to promote and foster all this education and learning, this the exact opposite of an organization that would want to control people by keeping them uneducated. Maybe you should take a deeper look into Islam or the Jehovah's Witnesses. A good book to read is by Thomas Woods, "How the Catholic Church built western civilization". Take care

  • if the term "Exorcist" is given to those persons who casts out demons, then to my knowledge, contrary to what the video said, Jesus was not the first exorcist because there are quite a few biblical personalities before Jesus' birth who casted out demons during their time. King Solomon for one casted demons out from some people then enslaved those demons to help build the temple of God. (See Testament of Solomon)

  • 5:57 Listen

  • I'm a Roman Catholic and i know that Exorcism is the tool to cast demons or Satan. However, if a person was controlled by Satan, then a priest would go to the possesed person and perform the ritual.

  • It depends on how violent the person i. and how often the devil can control the person infested. Also the priest preforming the exorcism might not be strong enough to exorcise the demon or demons. so they might have to call on the Bishop

  • wrong useally the bishop has 1 priest per disacese that knows the art of Exorcism and that priest is usally kept secert

  • not really... it more like i per state. do you know how rare exorist priests are today? they're only a handful, since the world of today is sooo sinful and attractive most priests are failling into the state of sin. exorsist priests are supposed to be in the state of grace at all times. it's not easy being an exorist priest because it's hard.
