@DisneyClassicsFan I think it's because "Cinderella" is really about Cinderella and she was the first one to clearly show the main concept of disney princesses which is following your dream. Also the movie itself was a very big hit and saved the studio from the damage of the war. Compare to that, aurora only shows up 18minutes in the movie and the 3 fairies has a pretty big role, compare to sidekicks of "Cinderella", like jack & gus. (of course sleeping beauty is a great movie and i love it)
I always wondered why Cinderella is considered the leader of the princesses. Don't get me wrong, she's one of my favorites, but I always thought that Aurora would be the leader, because she is the classic princess stereotype, I mean the long blond hair, the crown, and the pink ball gown. That's just my opinion.
