One story-while sitting in the loungeroom near the snooker room on my own, I was reading a book when I felt something was staring at me. I kept looking around me at least several times. As I was only 13 at the time, I became quite scared and went running to the office where my Aunt was working. That is one of many episodes I had there..oh, and the third floor was a no go zone-HAUNTED!
Wow, the place is looking good.....I spent most of my school holidays between 1972 and 1981 there. It was beautiful yet eerie as well. The place is full of secret passageways and rooms. A lovely time in my life

Carrington was haunted.I will have a new respect for the place,
when I visit it.I was happy to hear you had happy times when you
lived there, it's a lovely area.
Our news has reported a shocking gas exploson in the San Bruno area,

The old lift is about 100 years old, lots of history regarding this place.
