Thank you for sharing your work with us. By the time I get home from work I am way too tired to paint, I enjoy watching your videos. I hope someday soon I can restart painting...Take care.
Really nice depth in this painting Ettina! Peonies have always been one of my very favorite flowers, they really are rather fascinating. Very cool and interesting philosophical personification, too! I really couldn't agree more. YOU make all who watch you "bloom". :) This was nice to watch on a Monday morning when my bones are still aching.
WOW! This is a VERY NICE painting... as well as an interesting philosophy. I like your layering to achieve the final masterpiece. Your composition and color are classic in this one. DEFINITE FIVE STARS!! Thanks for posting it.
hi im gina i watch your videos and enjoy you sharing your ideas and its so nice getting to know who you are more .i want my dreams to come true im my biggest fan and my biggest critic.thats why i need to share here to see what im going to do with all this art i make .i have no meaning behind any of my art how do you get all this emotion from art .i just paint what ever comes out of me i have no clue but i do it any way
I like the video and seeing how the painting was created. But why are you wearing latex gloves? It may be a stupid question for an artist, but I don't know how to paint, just appreciate the paintings :-)
It's not a stupid question at all. Most artist don't, however I get paint all over me and oils as well as some mediums are toxic. I try and keep as much toxins out of my system as well as my food and I handle my kidsand pets all the time, so I try and keep chemicals off of them. When I used to use acrylics I painted with my fingers, and didn't even use a brush, that was fun!
My mom used to grow peonies....I loved them so much, they were so fragrant in the garden. I remember insects crawling all over them too...thus their "sweetness". (my mom is gone now...so it kind of brings back sweet memories for me, your painting kind of "blooms" back these nice memories)....Thanks)
Lol, Ant's and Bee's, don't forget the poor bees. If anyone figures out how to save the Bee's that would be great! We need all these little creatures...
Beautiful work and a great demonstration.
