He's defensievly inept, and wouldnt crack the bottom 6, and Stamkos, Crosby, Getzlaf, Perry, Nash, Staal, Toews all have him licked for top 6 duties. The only player who would make team canada is Ryan Miller. You should thank him for putting the performance of a life time both in the NHL and carrying over to the Olympics, Canada out shot, out hit, out chanced USA but thanks to Miller, it was closer than it actually was.

@nickt09 Gezlaf is easily the more dominant player than Kane, better hands, despite being 6'4, harder to knock off the puck, he's a better playoff performer and international performer than Kane.
If you can honestly say that you'd take Kane over Getzlaf in the Olympics or the Playoffs than prepare to lose.
Getzlaf does way more with way less and jst flat out dominates when it matters. Its not always about offensivie production especially if your a 5'9 midget.

edit: whenever he does that shootout backhand goal on shootuts he always scores, (unless he hits the post), and i love the 2:25 goal when he dove..thats a hockey player who is dedicated to win...and anothing, i think out of his whole career, i inly remember him doing 1 slapshot and scoring..hes always infront of the net scoring :)
