  • I think no one did not know AK 47.. I think people around the world knowing AK47

  • What about the SKS?

  • @fermi911

they do leave out several significant weapons in all i have watched. you might find it mentioned in another episode, but i doubt it.

  • THIS IS TO U UFOMASTAH CAN U READ MUTHAPHUKER I MEANT I OWN ONE STUPID FUCK U AND EVERYBODY THAT LOOKS LIKE U I HOPE U DIE IN FUCKING CAR WRECK WITH YOU FUCKED UP INBREED FAMILY FUCK U A MILLION TIMES IN THE ASSHOLE DICK HOLE BITCH NIGGA READ NEXT TIME AND UNDERSTAND OR DID U NOT LEARN THIS IN SCHOOL FUCKTARD

  • @kmontano1234 U mad?

  • (10:01-10:54)Fred's thoughts"Well, What kind of idiot would do that?". And his Finnish friend "You Idiot, You did that on purpose. Now you just taking away a little bit of history of that weapon.".

  • Sks

  • they did not talk about the sks

  • Comment removed

  • uploader is credit to youtube!

  • The first true storm rifle was invented by the Germans, the Stgw 44. Michael Kalashnikov was influenced by this weapon and its new cartridge 8x33mm. But none of this was mentioned in this reportage.

  • Yeah... SKS was the standard issue small arm before the ak-47... O.o

  • @poeticriot777 Not for long. Only a couple years.

  • Wheres the SKS?

  • oops, i meant 27:43 :0

  • @theclash181 That was prob a prototype based off the m1 garand using the 7.62x54r round.

  • 22:43 the M1 Garand DID NOT fail. That was one disappointment of this episode. Still, itwas great

  • @theclash181 oops 27:43 lol :0

  • LOL at 41:41 to 41:43....at the left of screen....did anyone notice one guy fell on the other guys head?

  • abtomat federov 1916? if they've used it its gona make alot ofdifferences.. amazing..

  • Why do the all russian guy's translation said in a russian accent?

  • PPHS-41 = Best SubMachine Gun

  • Sks dp? Rpd? Rpk? Pkp? No? No lmg's at all!

  • This document speaks a lot about the Soviet SMG's, but "forget" the initial Soviet aggression in the early stages of WW2 which gave them valuable information, experience and insight.

PPSh-41 and the drum magazine as an example...

  • No SKS? WTF?

  • in soviet russia, car drives you

  • Every time its about Russian weaponry or military, it's an old Soviet Union stuff.

  • They didn't even talk about the RPK. WTF?

  • Thanks for posting this great documentary.

  • Im sure it has been said BUT what about the SKS?

  • russians are gay idc wat anyone says us has the best guns around thts why we rule the world whether u think we do or not

  • Russian women have legs of steel xD

  • Very good documentaries. Informative, educational and interesting. I have watched almost every available episode of this series. Excellent.

  • That nagant is missing a firing pin!

  • Russian naval infantry in that opening sequence. Never f**k with the "black death". Ever.

  • kinda strange why didnt the mention the vss?

  • yeah the AK is better than most american arms its a shame that the only gun that could compete with in both reliablity and power the M14 was never produced and developed in a manor to compete with it on a global scale. my uncle used to tell me that in vietnam soilders wouldnt want to trade in their M14's for M16's some would hide them and say they got lost good move

  • When I hear, "Soviet Russia", the first image that pops into my head is a soldier with a big fury hat and AK47.

When I hear, "Czarist Russia", the first image that pops into my head is a soldier with an even bigger fury hat and a Mosin Nagant.

  • @aabceacba lololol

  • @aabceacba When I hear Soviet russia, the first image in my head is a slave. When it's czarist russia it is a free man!

  • @MrBagginsEsq Good point.

  • @MrBagginsEsq Funny how it was these so called 'slaves' who put the Third Reich into an early grave so ignorant pricks like you could insult them.

  • @aabceacba Check "Avtomat Fedorova" on google. This was first Russian "Avtomat" and designed at 1916(original or for arisaka cartrige) .Also due 1 world war Russian widely used Japan"Arisaka" rifle.

  • I like PPS-43 Sub-Machine Gun :)

  • I too am a US citizen and enjoy recreational shooting. I have routinely sold my US made AR-15's in the past for the more reliable Russian designed guns. I have owned a Romanian SAR-1, Hungarian and Polish Tantal AK-74's in 5.45x39, and a Russian made Saiga AK in .223. All are just as accurate as my AR-15's, the gun is a fraction of the cost, and much more reliable. Honestly, if I had to trust my life on a gun, is wouldn't be my AR-15, it would be an AK by far.

  • The PPSh-41 does have a selector switch, it's a crossbolt button on the triggerguard.

  • oh what a suprise, they left out my boy Simonov and his SKS which is where Kalashnikov got most of the AK from. tisk tisk!!!

  • Great video - thanks very much for the upload - but who are those soldiers in British style tin helmets at 25:17 ?

  • @Twirlyhead I don't know. Probably just stock footage of British or Americans from WWI.

  • @Primeda they are either us or british soldiers who where sent 2 russian during its civil war to try to stop the communist party from taking over

  • @Twirlyhead Either American or British soldiers. More then likely those deployed to Russia in an attempt to keep Russia in World War I.

  • @Twirlyhead Either American or British soldiers. More then likely those deployed to Russia during the North Russia Intervention.

  • @Twirlyhead It might be Russian troops in ww1 with lend-lease equipment, because in the revolution the allied powers supplied the White Russians with items of uniform, equipment and other military stuff.

  • @Twirlyhead The british sent an expeditionary force to russia to fight along side the White army in the counter revolution. It's probably them but not sure...

  • @Twirlyhead Really i think the video owner was very lazy to find original Russian video tapes and use British video! At World War 1 Russian use French or Russian made French stile helmets.

  • Aye, they also give some pretty decent sketches of what influenced these guns as well. Nice to know, I always like to have a diverse amount set of knowledge.

    Cheers for the upload mate!

  • still perfer the 7.62-39 a little more bang for your buck

  • Is there some kind of rule, that the guys who speak the translation of the russians has to speak with a russian accent? Seems stupid ihmo.

  • They missed the PK series, RPD, RPK series, VSS, PP-19 and the Modern AK series too.

  • What no SKS??????????????????????????????????

  • @timbo749 it wasn't used very long in the Russia as a main battle rifle, it was kept for more symbolic reasons as a parade rifle. The AK was the greatest thing that Russia ever made period.

  • @timbo749

Don't worry, they missed out the Mauser C96 and G43 rifle in 'German Small arms of WW2'. They are covering the most well known.

  • Gold uploads !

  • Great Upload. Thanks!

  • Thank you so much for uploading!

  • @TaZ101SAGA no prob.

  • I think they are meaning that the SVD has the same gas piston system as the AK. The M16 is a direct gas impingement system. That is why they have to be cleaned all the time. The AK and SVD have a piston system to push the bolt back and eject the cartridge.

  • the ak74 is good enough and is better than the m16 and m4 this is coming from a U.S. Soldier ak74 i got one and its my rifle in case shit happens!!!!!!!

  • @kmontano1234 I call bullshit on your comment sir. Are you saying you keep an AK 74 with your U.S Army kit? because that is not possible. Or are you saying that you have a civilianized AK74 at home?

  • @UFOMASTAH Call bullshit? Are you not allowed to be a soldier and a gun owner at the same time or something?

  • Wtf?

SVD is not a highly modified kalashnikov... it is just made to look/handle similarly to reduce the need to re-train the soldiers!

  • My bets on the AEK-97 series rifles, they seem more adequate for Russia.

  • nice, thanks so much for uploader

  • SVD hasn`t AK as a base. It is not "modernized" AK

  • wow russia really screwed the world with AK47s ........ the world is riddled with it

  • I think Russia has the most reliable weapons in the world

  • that one Russian soldier at the end looked like Saddam Hussein

    44:49

  • @brianthao102 More like a reborn Stalin :P

  • 36:50 that clip is also in CoD world at war. me and my friend were all like "that nazi gets one right in the head after that" because in the game the clip ended before they fell over

  • @Eddythebandkid Call Of Duty fanboy -_-

  • @mrspritezero says the dude with the ODST picture.

  • @Eddythebandkid ODST's from halo a actually decent game, unlike CoD

  • @mrspritezero Both games are good, I don't see why people like only one or the other.

  • at 19.29 when man appears his dubbed voice sounds like Alexander Orlov the meerkat from market.com

    lol

  • oh gosh I've seen this video like back in 2001 or something... was a student back then ))))

  • what about fedorv's avtimat from1915 the first assult rifle

  • @jmantime its mentioned. . .

  • I can't use those straight bolted rifles. lol Guess I'm too American.

  • Didn't the sks come before the ak47?

  • @Merkurio24 3 years before, actually.

  • @Merkurio24 Not to mention, the AVS came before the SVT

  • thanks for uploading. I have been looking for this for a long time.

  • Im complaining about the sks too

  • They forgot the SKS.

  • Thanks a lot. Great series. Congratulations

  • Thanks dude ;), i just wanted to upload that too.
