you're so lucky to have a rickenbacker. how long did it take for you to save all the money and but one? how much was it? Is it really as fun to play as it looks? I may not know the answers to these questions for a long time as i am yet to get my rickenbacker :'(

quick question. yuou know that pick up the big one, did paul take that big bridge hing that goes over the string, did paul take it off his bass or leave it on

it was on all through the beatles and he took it off sometime in the early '70s

That bridge thingie was all one pick up called the 'Horseshoe which was basically the style of the original guitar pick up. He didn't have his removed. His original pick up died on tour and Rickenbacker replaced it with a new 4001 pick up with the pick up cover removed.
